Tarrant’s was an incredible find! Michelle our server was one of the most attentive, funny, and considerate servers I’ve ever had in my entire life. The food was awesome. I had the breakfast pizza which was really delicious. And the surprise cinnamon bites were really delicious. Really glad we stumbled into this gem.

Delicious! Perfect, enjoyable mid afternoon lunch. Great food, excellent service, immaculate restaurant. My colleague and I were visiting Richmond, staying at a nearby hotel. She and I were enjoying a beautiful afternoon walk down historic Broad Street when we discovered Tarrant’s. It looked like a fun place and the menu posted outside was intriguing, so we decided to have lunch. Luckily, it was an excellent decision! Tarrant’s is located directly on beautiful, tree lined Broad Street in a beautiful Richmond neighborhood. The restaurant space itself is the old Tarrant’s Drug Company. Immediately upon entering the dining area you can see some really cool historic signs and fixtures from the drug store/pharmacy days. My colleague and I were Immediately seated and received prompt, friendly service from our excellent server. The menu includes a huge, diverse selection of possibilities and libations. Burgers, wraps, salads, desserts and entrée meals, plus much more is available. If you’re in the mood for an adult libation, Tarrant’s has a full service bar. There are so many interesting items on the menu, my colleague and I had a really difficult time making a decision on what to order. After much debate, I ordered the Cheeseburger and fries( yummy burger!!) My colleague had the Buffalo chicken wrap (my second choice) and she loved it! Fortunately, she allowed me to try her wrap and, I totally agree, it was excellent! Most certainly, on my next visit, I will order the wrap!! My third choice was the fried green tomato sandwich, which was very intriguing. At some point, on a future visit, I plan on trying the fried green tomatoes sandwich, too. If you happen to find yourself near Tarrant’s, you should really stop in and treat yourself. With the large menu, there is most certainly something for everyone to enjoy. Tarrant’s provides a very pleasant, relaxing, low-key atmosphere with excellent service!!

Visited Tarrants Cafe after taking a walk on Broad Street for the First Friday’s Art Galleries opening night! We enjoyed an 18 inch delicious pizza and took home half of it! Shared an awesome slice if decadent rich dark chocolate cake to end the meal. Love the decor featuring a variety of vintage chandeliers throughout the two dining rooms . Check it out when you are in the downtown Richmond area!

Early lunch arrival means the staff has to be more ready. Food wasn’t worth the price for the portions. Great beer selection. Fantastic atmosphere considering the edge neighborhood.

We came here our first night in Richmond and loved it so much we returned for brunch. It seems to be a hidden gem but a gem it surly is. We loved the service, atmosphere, and of course the food.

Really cool spot downtown on Broad. Cozy vibe inside with lots of booths and a well equipped bar. Lots of mocktails on the drink menu and they’re all just $5. Extensive menu- they also have brunch until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday even though you can’t find that menu online. Ot was very easy to make a same day reservation online. Our food was good but it did take a long time for it to come out- definitely not quick. It can take a few minutes to find a parking spot nearby. We look forward to coming back here, especially to bring out of town guests!

Ordered lunch for the first time with a coworker, I ordered the health bowl. My first issue was the one small container of dressing for the size salad I had. My second issue was the amount of wilted chunks of lettuce that was in my salad. For a place of your stature, food needs to be better prepared. The raspberry vinaigrette didn’t have any flavor, I had to add salt and pepper to give the salad some taste

We stopped by for their Thanksgiving dinner service and it was excellent. Chelsea took great care of us. Even though the resteraunt was at capacity service was quick and friendly. The food and cocktails were delicious and we are so happy we made this our dinner choice that evening. We will definitely have to come back and try their normal menu.

A pretty good place to go to for brunch! I enjoyed the vintage decor and old paintings, and our waitress was very nice. Our food did take very long to come out, but they were apologetic about that.
