We’ve lived in North Port for 5 years and always said, “We need to try that place” every time we drove by. Well, we finally did — and it absolutely did not disappoint.

We made the rookie mistake of going on a Saturday at 5:30pm, so there was about a 45-minute wait (which was expected). We were seated right around that 45–50 minute mark, and from there everything was excellent.

Kevin was our server and he was fantastic — the perfect balance of patient and witty, with great menu knowledge. Even with how busy they were, we never felt neglected and our drinks were always refilled.

The food was fresh — and I mean fresh. I had the grouper dinner (blackened), my wife got the shrimp po’ boy, and our 10-year-old went with chicken tenders and fries. We started with calamari, which was also fresh and delicious. The fish quality really stood out.

We spent about $127 for the three of us. These days most places run $75–$100 anyway, and I’ll never complain about price when the quality of the food and service match it — and here, it absolutely did.

We only support local businesses, and this will definitely become one of our go-to dinner spots. We’ll be back.

We went to Tarpon Point on a random Wednesday for lunch in late February and had a wonderful meal. The catch of the day sandwich was great. The atmosphere eating by the docks is very relaxing. We’ll definitely go back.

We chose outdoor seating with a waterway view. There’s plenty of outdoor seating. The mild blood and medium bloody Mary’s were good. After trying my husband’s medium one, I’d definitely get one of those next time instead of the mild. There was 6 of us and all of us thought our lunches were delicious.

Great menu selections. Also have kids menu. Their shrimp taco and shrimp & chips were the best. The place has a wonderful ambiance with a beautiful view of the water outside. The patio seating I believe is the best place to eat. The service was excellent.

Such a nice spot to have dinner, snack or a drink by the river. Plenty of room for big parties. Lots of seating outside and inside. Staff is friendly and quick.

Good food and scenic views by the River. A visit is well worth it. I am giving this 5*, but with a caveat. Prices. This places has been around for a very long time, but when Wellen Park and the gated communities around River Road were built up, they renovated and adjusted their menu to the clientele, which is wealthy old people from up north. So, you won’t find as many locals there anymore. Still a great place to dine once in a while.

Great place for sea food. Outside seating next to the river was very calming and beautiful. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed. We were told we would have to wait for 30 min for a table so we stayed. 15 min later we were being seated. They had a beer sampling from, “3 Daughters”, a near by Brewery and they were very tasty. Because it was a Friday night they had live music from “The Chill”. Very easy music to listen to and not over powering. You could easily have a conversation at the table. The manager made 2 table touches during out visit which was very appreciated. Our server was Michael and the Manager was Mike. Great job. We will come again on our next visit to the area.

Awesome atmosphere, food and service. Oysters on the half shell, shrimp ceviche, peel n eat garlic shrimp, catch of the day Red Snapper sandwich lightly blackened. Delicious. Bartender Marissa was spot on. GM Mike was an amazing host. Also highly recommend burger -best around, wedge salad is the best, coconut shrimp also a favorite.
