Amazing food, good service and the atmosphere is nice but it was really loud. We sat upstairs and had a hard time hearing. They fill up so reservations a few days in advance is recommended. They have 2 levels and seating outdoors. They ship fresh fish from other locations as well as local. We had Branzino (delicious-mild-tasted similar to Walleye) and crab leg. Tap water tastes like “ocean”. Not great

Can & Fin at St. Armand’s Circle. I love hearing that the bartenders have worked at a place forever. William at 10 years (his birthday today) and Kate at 15 years make a fabulous team. Stopped in for the first time after the art show. It was happy hour…bonus! Half off cocktails which included our Angel’s Emvy old fashioned’s for $7 each. How was this possible? Amazing…bring me another please. Ceviche, meatballs, spicy yellowfin tuna….all delicious! What a great find

A very chic place. White tablecloths, suited servers. The Florida Stone Crab is beautifully plated, so fresh and ice cold, with asparagus and tiny potatoes on a side plate. The New England clam chowder just might be the best I’ve had, better than Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, better than the Union Oyster House in Boston. The base isn’t so flour-heavy as you might find elsewhere. Perfect balance and texture, with plenty of clams. And Penelope was such a sweetheart, bringing me a hot, damp towel at the end of the meal. If I lived around here, this would be my regular spot for date night.

We had lunch here, it was really good. Crab & lobster bisque (with actual crab & lobster meat). Wife had Shrimp & grits (one giant shrimp, but would be better with 2) & I had Low Country Boullibase. It was full of seafood (fish, mussels & clams). The drinks were also really good. The prices are really affordable, considering the location. I recommend a visit.

My wife and I had a celebratory dinner there and we absolutely loved it. We ate upstairs by the window and had a beautiful view of St. Armands Circle. The food was amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. Our server was Lizzy and she was terrific; very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.

we stumbled across a fabulous restaurant in Saint Armand Circle. The atmosphere was elegant, but casual, the crisp white linen tablecloth with the backdrop of low lighting made for a perfect night. The intimate setting of a classy seafood restaurant that also offers meat options was absolutely perfect. This is a true find in Sarasota if not all of Florida. We first began with a complementary appetizer of a smoked salmon pate served by our lovely waitress, Christin. after the appetizer, we had a delicious warm basket of bread which included homemade wheat rolls and garlic twists with plenty of butter! We started with a flatbread appetizer which was a smoked salmon flatbread it had a grilled cauliflower crust, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, radish, olive oil, oil, lemon, dill, cream cheese, red onion, arugula, and black mission, fig must I say it was extraordinary! we then had to dine on a delicious big beautiful bastard burger it was a half pound of Australian Wagyu, burger, full smoked blue cheese, cognac, caramelized, onion, applewood, smoked bacon, fried quail, egg, kimchi, tomato, aïoli, shaded winter, pure gold truffles, and it was delicious on a 24 carat, gold Portuguese sweet bread bun yes that is true and white truffle Parmesan beer battered french fries I thought at that point I had died and gone to heaven you must get this burger. It’s gorgeous and delicious my dinner partner for the night had a salad. she was so full from the appetizer and flatbread however she chose the Martha’s Vineyard salad, a raspberry maple dress greens, blue cheese, red onions, and toasted pine nuts. She said it was the best salad she ever had. Kristen are wonderful waitress suggested for dessert and array of so many different pastries made in the restaurant yet I chose the homemade Dubai chocolate bar. Must I say it was scrumptious I even took a little home. At the end of the evening, we took a picture of the manager, Brendan. Brendan was all decked out in his holiday best attire he was friendly and showed me some other parts of the restaurant which you can see in the photos crab and Finn is a definite must for anybody in the Sarasota area. I can’t wait to go back again, so enjoy and I hope your meal will be as wonderful as ours was! apologies for the incorrect grammar. I’m having computer difficulty today, but I wanted to get this review out there for all of you that might be looking to go to a restaurant this holiday season.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! We enjoyed some of the best Key Lime pie we’ve ever tasted. What truly made the night unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service from our server, Lois. She went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding!
