The food is beyond exquisite. The customer service and hospitality is A+++. The staff are so polite, kind and classy. It was a wonderful experience having a fancy and delicious yummy Brunch. First time here and it was so amazing from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It felt dream like. We enjoyed the complementary bread service. To start we ordered the buffalo crab dip, and the crab & corn chowder. For my entree I had jumbo lump crab pappardelle. (I love crab lol) It was all delicious.
We had our reservation at 5pm, and by the time we were finished with everything we got to enjoy a perfect sunset at 6pm.
I bought a shirt from their wide selection of shirts in the gift shop where the woman working was able to help me find my size.
When we were leaving and in the car- my nephew realized he forgot his bottle on the table and just as we were about to rush back inside in hopes of it still being there I received a phone call letting me know they had it safely secured.
We weren’t staying at the Lodge but we were still treated with utmost hospitality. I can’t recommend a more perfect place to go to dinner if you want to experience just an all around perfect evening. I also couldn’t stop thinking about how perfect of a location this would be for a small wedding. I’d get married here because it really did feel like something out of a book.
6/5 stars. Bonus star for it being a family owned establishment. Put this on your list of “must go to’s.”

While on a business trip I stopped in for lunch and found myself transported back in time to a Florida I wish I could have known. The area is beautiful but the lobby and photos on the wall are priceless. The service is fantastic and the view of the Gulf is gorgeous. Only wish I could have stayed for dinner but the lunch menus have plenty of great choices. I enjoyed the blackened fresh red fish tacos. Seasoned perfectly and moist. The black beans and rice are a nice addition as is the fresh coleslaw. Unsweetened tea is refreshing. I’m excited to return and stay in the lodge.

I don’t want to leave a good review… I don’t want this place to get overwhelmed. I want to keep it a secret. This is by far the best restaurant in SW Florida all considering.. location, food, staff, ambiance and value. The view of the sunset from our dining table was spectacular. The food fresh and delicious. The ambience was amazing. And staff absolutely wonderful. Definitely will be dining again.

There was lip stick on my rose cocktail glass and there was no description of what the liquor was in that drink. That rose flavored liquor Tasted like the smell from grandma’s boudoir. The service was good the crab chowder was good but as a whole not a great experience as the price did not justify the quality.

We only drinks but it was such a quaint bar. The service was excellent. They offered a special drinks menu for next week’s Valentine’s Day. It was chilly outside and the fireplace inside was going which added to the ambiance.

What a gem! We found this place completely by accident and felt lucky to get a table without a reservation. I’m only sad can’t go again before we leave Florida. The service was exceptional. The vibe was electric. And the food was superb. The Blue Crab and Corn Chowder may have been the best bowl of soup I’ve ever had. Ever. Just can’t say enough about this place. Wish I could give more than five stars.

The Tarpon is a gem. My steak came out perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. Service was top-notch, extremely friendly, and attentive. Everything was spot on except my wife’s fish, which she felt was a little salty. She mentioned it, and without hesitation they whisked it away and brought out a brand new one, cooked to her liking. That right there is the mark of a great restaurant – not every dish will be perfect for every palate, but how they handle it makes all the difference.
The manager even came by to check in, which shows they truly care. Our server was fantastic too. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Five stars, and we will definitely be back.
Oh… and the bread & butter is delightful! That’s one of my guilty pleasures. It’s the Italian in me. 🙂

An unforgettable experience. The view, service, food, and atmosphere were excellent and impeccable. The key lime pie was the finish I was looking for. The Cidertini was wonderful as well!
