First time visiting this restaurant but not having Thai food.
We ordered the chick satay started which was so light and the sauce was perfect.
For mains we had the chef recommend chilli and lime sea bass, and sides of pad Thai with prawn and a special fried rice. The seabass was incredible and so beautifully presented, the pad Thai and rice also beautifully full of flavours. Cannot fault this restaurant at all. In fact we recently visited Ivy Asia in St Paul’s which didn’t have the authenticity of Tara’s. Well done and thank for you for a lovely evening in our local area.

Wow what a lovely occasion. Fantastic food, great veggie choice, faultless. And the service was brilliant. Treated like VIPs. And the rendition of happy birthday for my wife capped off a superb time. Can’t wait to go again.

Went here 11 years ago. Decided to give it another try last week on a lunchtime deal. We were the only people in there. What could possibly go wrong?
The place was cold, no atmosphere. The waiter was very smiley and friendly unfortunately he didn’t have a clue everything we asked him. Oh, I’m not sure and kept giggling.
We eventually ordered our food which came out wrong, so it was sent back. Second time lucky it was still wrong the first issues that came out had vegetables, the second dishes that came out had no vegetables .as we were sitting there all of a sudden two people came bursting out of the kitchen which was supposedly chefs., not looking very happy. They came and asked us what the problem was so we explained that the dishes were wrong. and a lot of consistency. Off they went quite angrily. Then produced the food again and said is this better? It looked okay unfortunately the food was bland no flavour tough anaemic beef, very very pale looking chicken. Service didn’t exist food was very bland very boring.
Nothing has changed in 11 years.
I wouldn’t go back, even if the food was free !!

What a fantastic evening we had last night. It was a bit of late decision to book a table for 25 people for our friend’s, daughters 21st. We are so glad we did. The food was fantastic – best Thai I’ve ever had. We all agreed. The best part was the hospitality shown by the staff. They were so lovely and made the night really special. They brought out a dessert and all sang Happy Birthday (that wasn’t something we asked for). I think we’ve all found a new favourite place. We will be back.

With out a doubt the best Thai restaurant in the area. The food never disappoints and the service is always on point. I always ask for my food to be Thai spicy not English spice and no flavour is lost. An absolute little gem of a place.

Have just moved to the area and WOW so happy to have this place on my doorstep. The staff are soooo nice, went on Sat night it was very busy but the staff are full of banter and are attentive with it.
I visited Thailand in 2013 and got a taste for the food. I can say this lives up to it. The curries are amazing and the chef’s specials possibly even better.
Second time I’ve visited in as many months, will be going back again.

Cherry’s Life in the U.K.
One of the best Thai food in area. The food were delicious . We ordered green chicken curry, prawns pad Thai, spicy beef, Jasmine rice and two beer, We liked all the dishes, the the price was decent. Recommend it.
