Great food at a good price. If you’re looking for good Thai that comes out super quick, look no further. Tap beer select was pretty good, featuring regional breweries. We will definitely be back! Only down side was the dining area echoed a lot.

Best Tom Tum Gong soup I have ever had! My drunken noodles were done with red sauce so just a heads up to you brown saucers. And the Thai tea was yum!
My seared tuna was a little thin and therefore got cold very fast.

Great Thai food with an impressive spice level for a small town in the Midwest. Good vegetarian options and for the items with eggs it’s possible to make it vegan when ordering. We ordered the drunken noodles and green curry and both were good. They also have local beer with happy hour from 6-8pm.

Really nice place and great staff. Pretty busy when we stopped by. Potstickers were great; very crispy. Pad Thai and Fried Rice were good but not great. We’ve had better at other restaurants in big cities. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food!

Passing thru from out of the area, i stopped in after seeing they had sour beer. Staff was nice to let me sample a couple brews to help me decide. Ordered and it was at my table in just a few minutes. Tried the drunken noodle after seeing another review. Omgosh it’s SOOO good! Noodles had just a bit of chewiness and a nice amount of heat. I’ll definitely be back next time I pass thru!

I stop at Tara Thai frequently for lunch when working in the Bemidji area. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to the table. They offer local alcoholic beverages and bottled sodas, but I typically just stick to the self-service water cooler. The dishes are very fresh and you can adjust the spiciness if needed. I currently order extra spicy drunken noodles with chicken, but the pad thai and curries are also highly recommended. Staff is very friendly, and I think the owner is typically on site. Seating can be limited during lunch, I’ve noticed, but I don’t mind sharing a hightop with another group of people necessary. It’s always nice to find great Asian in small town Minnesota. I’ll be back soon.
