Very disappointing experience
I was really looking forward to my order from &pizza, but this experience was a huge letdown. The box had my name and the correct topping choices printed clearly on the sticker — but when I opened it, the pizza inside was completely wrong. It was a meat pizza, not even close to what I ordered.
I’ve been sustaining from eating meat, so this wasn’t just a small mix-up — it meant I couldn’t eat my meal at all. It’s frustrating that such a simple order check wasn’t done before sending it out. I expected more care and attention, especially since the correct details were right there on the label. Very disappointed and hoping they improve their accuracy and attention to orders in the future.

Having heard the story of &pizza for many years but only able to go in airports, it was great to go to a standalone store! It loved up to the hype for me. Had a great Hawaiian pizza and a root beer. Everything throughout the process was executed well and the meal was excellent! Would definitely recommend it for a quick meal on the go.

I am reviewing my ordering/delivery experience mostly. My past dine-in experience was much better: the atmosphere was OK, and I thought the pizza was good, but my daughter absolutely loved it. I ordered a different pizza the next time we visited and, while it wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, it was very good and I really enjoyed it.
My delivery order tonight, was a different story. It actually arrived earlier than estimated, so that’s great, but the two pizzas were both cold, and looked like they had been sitting out a while (the cheese had re-solidified). On top of that, one of the pizzas was missing not one, but two of the main pizza toppings, so the flavor of the pizza was very different than I expected. I reheated both pizzas to try to salvage them, and my daughter’s was OK, but mine was very bland.
So all-in-all, I had a very disappointing meal this evening, and I don’t think I would ever order for delivery from here again.

After frequenting the Dulles 28 location many times since they opened a few months ago, you can classify me as a regular. We’ve had &pizza occasionally before this location opened, so we’re familiar with their offerings from in-person ordering, but only made aware of their extended online menu when we started ordering online. We’ve dined here on a wide assortment of times from lunch on weekdays to dinner on weekends, from single orders to group orders, and I don’t have a clue why ratings aren’t higher (as of today, it has around 2.5 rating on Google reviews. What’s up with that??).
Don’t let the rating dissuade you from dining here. Take it from me, the pizzas taste great and are fresh made to order in as fast as humanly possible. Staff is helpful and friendly. Ordering online is super easy and efficient, even when using a promo code. If you open an account with them and attach your number, you’ll get updates as your order gets processed, from them assembling it all the way to letting you know when it’s ready. It’s pretty simple. I feel for the people who’ve had bad experiences here, maybe I’m one of the lucky ones, but again I’ve dined here more times than I care to admit and we’ve had a flawless experience each time. They’ve even executed custom orders exactly the way we wanted them, and even offered a free cookie when one of our pizzas took longer than expected. What more can you ask for?
And BTW, my go-to order is American Honey. Just something about the combination of crispy pepp, arugula, cheese, red pepper flakes, and hot honey that makes me give it the chef’s kiss.
