It was my first time in. I was just making a to-go order. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The food was wonderful. Only thing I would change would be they made fresh aqua fresca instead of artificial.

The food was delicious! The waitress was inattentive and impatient. As a party of 10 we got there and only 1 other table was occupied, I had to ask for a high chair for the 18 month old, the waitress took our drink order as we are trying to sit everyone down, came back wanting the food order. We asked for more time twice, then provided the order. They delivered yummy guacamole and pico with 2 small baskets of chips that the waitress kept setting in front of the 18 month old (3 times total). We had to ask for water refills and chip refills. However when the food came it was worth the frustration! I had 1 green tamale and 1 red, both excellent! 1 chicken taco and 1 steal, again they did not disappoint! Others had jalisco mix and it was excellent! The kids got the chicken quesadillas with rice and beans and no complaints! Hope they get the service worked out, because the food was really good!

This restaurant stinks but some Mexican restaurants do so we stayed. I ordered tamales and when they arrived they smelled so bad. I tasted them and almost threw up. The outside was so mushy and gross. When we went to pay the waiter was charging for the food not eaten. I asked about it and she said sorry I don’t make the rules. We also were charged $3.00 for a togo drink. They advertised prices on their menu that are incorrect also and when asked about it they said oh price increase or unchanged for different meat. This is not stated on the menu either. Also service was slow and there was 1 other table only. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Long time listener, first time caller! I was in college when this place first came about around 2018-2019. They operated out an old gas station, before moving to their current location. I’ve been around Mexico, but the mixed fajitas covered in ranchero salsa is the best I’ve ever had. Ask for it next time and buckle up!

Don’t recommend the aguas frescas, they taste artificial and the rice is bland. Ordered a Torta and was mainly beans and lettuce no carne asada. We ate at the older location and really loved it, definitely not the same. The tacos are delicious tho

Looking for a true authentic Mexican dining experience? This place has the makings of a great taqueria. There is plenty of space for groups of all sizes. The food is fresh and made to order. It is all so tasty: tacos, tortas, gorditas, you name it.

I’m kind of a street taco fanatic.. Having lived on the Texas Mexico border for 30 years and having worked in Mexico and hitting the taqueria’s hard down there for years as well, i know the great ones and the poopoo ones. I was in nacogdoches and figured I’d see what they had in town. I got a sampling of pork, beef and chicken taquitos and I’d rate them all pretty good, not great mind you but dang good for Texas. Comparing them to others in Texas I’d say 8.5/10 and comparing to Mexico, 7/10. Thier chips and salsa weren’t that great. Overall if your looking for a good taqeria in Texas in nacogdoches, 99% of the people would think these were great.. So I’d definitely recommend this place

Food was really good. I had 2 taco meal. Chicken fajita meat tacos with rice and beans. Ordered queso and that added to taco was perfect. Companion had chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. Nothing fancy but good real Mexican food. I do like the three condiments served for free including quacomole. I wish they had traditional salsa too.
