Love this place! The food is so authentic, everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. The tacos are some of the best I’ve had. The taquitos are crispy and packed with flavor, and the guacamole and pico de gallo taste like they were made right at your table. And the margaritas, wow! Freshly made, no gross bar lime mix, just real, bright lime flavor. Definitely one of my favorite local spots for Mexican food and drinks!

All I can say is I am so amazed at the authenticity of this place, finding a good, true authentic Mexican restaurant in Canada isn’t the easiest, but wow I am so happy I found this place. Takes me back to when I was actually in Mexico. Thank you to the amazing staff there and kitchen staff that made my day last week! Such good food and I absolutely love the restaurant inside. This is definitely a hidden gem , but I can’t be selfish, people need to know about this amazing restaurant! I will be back!!!

My wife and I have been going here since it opened. I know they’ve posted recently about trying to stay in business but the quality of their food and service has declined significantly since it opened. I appreciate that the business is struggling but the prices were high even when the food/service was of good quality. The portion size for the taco has decreased by a lot. The food never appears to be fresh. The toppings are inconsistent from one visit to the next despite the menu being the same. The in house service is practically non existent and they appear to stay behind the counter or in the kitchen rather than serving you. I’d love to keep supporting a local business but cutting costs in way that brings the quality down only makes current customers not want to return. After this last time I’m not sure I’d be back and I honestly never write business reviews. I paid 27 $ for four tacos which were incredibly small. The extra prices for things like chips and sauces is outrageous considering it’s basically a take out taco spot given the lack of service. If they improve on small things maybe they’ll be able to stay in business but I can see why they are having a hard time: having friendly and attentive staff wouldn’t cost them anything and would make a huge difference to customers.

I had the veggie burrito with side salad and horchata, and tried the nachos with guac, veggie taco, and enfrijoladas. The food was very tasty – love the crunch of the nachos, burrito was delicious and fresh, and the highlight for me was the horchata. It was so good!! The veggie taco was good but next time I will add beans. I will definitely be back.

Wow !! I was in today with a friend and we both ordered the Taquitos and they were SO good. I have been to Mexico 3 times and this was better than food I have had there. Our waitress was so very kind and sweet. I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu

Went here for the first time two days ago, and the food did not disappoint. The service was great, the margaritas were perfect, and the food was the best Mexican food I’ve had yet. The ingredients in the margs (&all of the food) were distinctly fresh, and the nacho chips had the perfect crunch. We started with nachos and ate every single bite. Great portion, lots of cheese and toppings. My partner had 4 different types of tacos, and loved every single one o them. I had the taquitos, which were great. We will absolutely be back. Great addition to West Bedford!

My husband and I went to Toquitos after seeing their Instagram post about struggling to keep the lights on. We genuinely wanted to support a local business, and we love Mexican food. I’d actually been asking my husband for a while to make the drive from the Passage to try it.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. When we walked in, no one greeted or guided us, and it wasn’t clear whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually, we spoke to a server and asked if we could sit down. They said yes and handed us menus, and that was the last interaction we had.
We were never offered water or drinks. We looked over the menu for quite some time and were ready to order, even setting our menus aside to signal this. While we waited, we played four games of Uno. During that time, another couple came in, was promptly served, and received drinks, yet our original server never returned.
In the end, we gave up and left without ordering. It was a real disappointment, especially given how much we wanted to support them.

The food was great and the value is there which is getting harder and harder to find. I love every restaurant that serves a menu other than pizza and fried fish. The food was tasty and send authentic. I’m the end is good. I would eat in and I’m wondering if there are more seasoned options. I had the Enfrijonadas and my wife had a carne asada with a cochinita taco. They were both excellent. We will try the menu and I love a good burrito so I’m excited to try. We’ll be back.

Every time I come to Halifax/Bedford this is my go to treat for myself, I get takeout because I’m always on the move. I LOVE the taquitos, I love their guac (which I can’t stand most places just being honest) I love the orange hot sauce, I love the service, when I have to pop in and use the washroom, it’s always immaculate and the entire atmosphere is super cute!!! I’ve tried all of the similar restaurants in the area but one and this is by far my jam! Thanks ladies, you’re amazing!!

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. You have to try to make food this bad. I had the fish burrito which hardly had any fish, just a lot of dried-up white rice and black beans. No sauce whatsoever. All for the laughable price of $18! I won’t be back!
