The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that sometimes it takes a while to get the food because they usually have 1 or 2 cooks. But it’s worth the wait. Don’t rush perfection. Great prices

This place proves my theory that the best tacos are usually served on paper plates. During my two day visit I tried nearly every taco, and they were all fantastic: fresh, tasty, simple. Highly recommended!

Taqueria Zacatecas truly is a hidden gem in Hesperia! The authentic flavors and inviting atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for any taco enthusiast.
I started off with a bowl of menudo, and it was simply delicious. The rich broth and tender tripe were seasoned perfectly, creating a comforting and flavorful dish that hit all the right notes.
Next, I tried the tacos de cabeza and they did not disappoint. The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, making each bite a true delight. The handmade tortillas were the perfect vessel for these mouthwatering tacos.
The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes provided.
If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than Taqueria Zacatecas. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!
Thanks Don Martin Gomez for bringing me in!

I got one of each taco I give there tacos a 7/10 they weren’t great and they weren’t bad but better than normal I’ve tried horchata was good. The mild sauce wasn’t spicy if you’re used to spice.

i’m giving 2 stars for the effort of the 2 man team that was working under heated conditions.(well over 100 degrees outside) with that being said, food in proper cooling equipment would taste better. the meat definitely tasted old and i couldn’t even finish it. The meundo tasted good but was not fresh. the california burrito was made with the same meat for the quesadilla. we couldn’t stomach any more and left. i don’t like this type of reviews because there can always be that one bad day. we definitely went on that one bad day!

Picked up an asada burrito, an el pastor torta and a chicken quesadilla. All the food was really good. Salsa had some good heat, but could be a bit much if your either not for spicy or on the fence about spicy. Good prices also. Enjoy.

The 99¢ street tacos were not good. Carne asada tasted old and Al pastor didn’t look or taste like it.
