Everything about this place made my heart sing, and my stomach feel satiated. The tamales wrapped in banana leaves were the best I’ve had since traveling to Mexico. All the food was perfection. Can’t wait to explore the menu!

They have the theme down but the food was incredibly bland. All the tacos we ordered from Carne Asada to Tongue was bland. You get more flavor from white rice. This place was an insult to my Mexican heritage.

My Torta con Chorizo was excellent! I always judge tortas starting with the bread, and this sandwich did not disappoint. Que rico!! The service was friendly and quick and the prices were good. The horchata was fresh and tasty too. The only complaint is that there was no ice available for the drinks. Some of the best, if not the best/most authentic Mexican food in town.

Best Gordita i have had in the area. Fresh salsa bar and very friendly family running the restaurant. Lengua was top notch.

Very comfortable with great food and very large portions everything had great flavor and everyone was very polite and nice. I highly recommend this place for a good meal and to come in and get the feeling of Mexicos sabor and hospitality. Maricela was exceptionally polite and professional thank you so much.

I enjoyed the enchilada Verdes, steak burrito was really good, Carne Asada was delicious, but the tacos I tried I didn’t enjoy that much because I don’t enjoy corn tortillas. Don’t know if they have flour tortillas as an option for the tacos.
And this was the best guacamole I’ve ever had.
Also the green sauce (the thin one) was very good too.

This taqueria is a true hidden gem! I stumbled upon it by chance and was overjoyed by the authentic taste of home. Every dish was prepared with love, just like in Mexico, and the warm, caring service made me feel like family. The experience was so heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes. I’ll definitely be back—with loved ones in tow! If you haven’t visited Taqueria y Supermercado Fiesta in Opelika, you’re missing out. An unforgettable meal and an even more unforgettable experience await you.
¡Muchas gracias por todo!
