Not sure about the bad reviews because the food was great. It’s good chinese food. Just what we were looking for. Prices are reasonable and portions are hefty! Egg roll is crunchy! It hit the spot! And the staff were very very polite and said hi to each customer walking in. I got General Tso, beef and broccoli with chow mein and 1 egg roll.

Food was mediocre. The beef although soft (if sliced thin) has an odd flavor past the sauce. I got a thick chunk and it tasted like Sysco peppered beef. Teriyaki chicken was fine but no other flavor than sugar and liquid smoke. And if you’re looking for flavorful Chinese rice and noodles they don’t have it. Tings Wok in Pharr set the bar too high iykyk.

I am blown away by the food. I don’t think I can go back to any chain places again with any satisfaction. The beef was so tender and flavorful, veggies were fresh and perfectly steamed, and the rice was cooked to perfection. This is the best Chinese food I’ve had, hands down.

Sunday morning the staff was polite and friendly. They greeted every guest that came in. The sweet and sour chicken was good however the beef and broccoli was really dry even though it was covered in a broth. The fried rice was just brown mushy rice as if too much water was used. Really couldn’t eat it. If I visit again I would recommend steam rice.

The food presentation was great! I was greeted upon entering the establishment. However, the food did not have any taste or flavor. I loved ordering from this place in the mall but sorry to say that it was just not the same. Maybe different owners or new management.. however I will be back to give them a second chance. Maybe.

Went at about 12:00, thinking food would be fresh. My husband and I ordered 2 entrees each, to taste each others choices. We will not be returning. It’s not like when China Pantry was at the mall. Service was like a production line not cafeteria style. Enough said.

The quantity of food is served in great portions. Lady working there is demanding you hurry up. Lady makes you feel pressured to select options rapidly and makes disgusting faces. The pricing of food is average, and the food is good. Business needs a lot of improvement in customer service.
