Best Mexican food restaurant in Cedar Hill in my opinion. The pictures are of Chilaquiles and Enchiladas. Both dishes were exceptional. The waitress in the evenings is very nice. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

It’s very sad for me to write this review as we have been big fans of this restaurant. Unfortunately the last few times we’ve been there the quality and quantity of food has been going down as prices go up. We order from here a few times a month and it’s descent amount of food.
Today we ordered meat by the pound. I asked the lady if she was sure I was getting the correct amount because we usually order the same thing and we get it in bigger plates. She said yes it all get weighed and she assured me it was the correct amount. When I got home I weighed the plates and one was missing about 1/2 the amount of meat. Ordered 3lbs and got 1.71lbs. Called to let her know and didn’t seemed bothered but she asked the cook who she told me he just started working there. I heard him say that he “measured” the meat not weight it.
Not sure how this works but if I’m spending money on a certain amount of food, I expect that. Then she took my number said I would get a call from the owner and never heard back from anyone. That being said, the food is decent now, for the past 5-6 times we’ve gone in we see different staff with less that okay customer service from 3-4 months ago. We will be taking our money and supporting other businesses that care about their customers.

So, I went back to try another dish. I had the carne asada, which was good. My friend had the chimicanga with queso and an egg on top, he said that it was good. The waitresses are always nice to us. I love this place. If you’re in Cedar Hill, check it out.

I’ve never written a review like this, but my experience here was shocking. Not only did I experience outright racist remarks from staff, but I also found a roach crawling on my plate. Yes—a live cockroach. I immediately informed the staff, and they barely reacted, offering nothing more than a shrug and another plate.
No apology from management, not even a sincere one. Instead, the behavior felt dismissive and hostile. This isn’t just about bad service—it’s about being treated with disrespect and served food in unsafe conditions.
Customers shouldn’t have to endure racism or eat food contaminated with pests. I strongly urge anyone reading this to think twice before supporting this place. A restaurant should be welcoming—and clean.”

I haven’t had horchata as good as this place in a while. The tacos were alright. The meat was tough, so I think they use a cheaper part of the cow, lol. The rice and beans were alright as well. The service was great. Very friendly. The salsa Verde was very good. Had a better kick than most.

Went in around 7:30pm yesterday. I NEVER write reviews, but this place gave me and my girlfriend food poisoning. We got chicken and steak tacos, and the birria tacos. They charge around 20$ for the birria tacos which is actually insane when the dipping soup just looked like dirty brown water and the tacos were disgusting so she ended up having some of my tacos which I’d rate a 3/10. Then this morning, we both had really bad stomach problems and let’s just say it was clear as day we had food poisoning once we got to the toilet. GO GET TACOS ELSE WHERE, this overpriced mediocre food is not worth food poisoning. Food poisoning is a clear sign that they don’t take proper food measures in the kitchen and will give anything to their customers. Bad establishment and bad chefs. There’s so many better tacos places than this and you don’t have to question if you’ll get food poisoning.
