The food was FANTASTIC. Tasted amazing, everything from the shell and taco meat to the rice and guacamole, delicious. The water was good too – I’m a bit of a water snob. There was a bit of a language barrier with the staff, most spoke only Spanish, but we were able to communicate without issues, they made a real effort to communicate with us despite the barrier and we weren’t neglected at all. The decor in there was beautiful as well, very unique painted chairs and tables. Bathroom was clean and in working order. The prices were pretty cheap, with good portion sizes. I would definitely come back if I ended up in this area again!

I have NO clue why they have such a low review because this place was LEGIT! The tacos were outstanding and affordable. The service was incredible and they made an effort to communicate with me even though I speak limited Spanish. The decor was unique and bathroom clean. Overall very good!

Was really missing my wife’s cooking, so I decided to check out this local Mexican spot for breakfast — and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. My son was amazed by the massive glass of orange juice they brought out — seriously, it was huge!
10/10, highly recommend. A great way to start the day.

We really enjoyed everything. There were two men they played some songs . It was nice. There was a slight delay on checking out. She was busy with some orders in the back counter. She did apologize. We will be back

Worst food I’ve ever had, and I’m not just saying that. I ordered 4 different dishes and nothing had an ounce of flavor. Queso is basically water. Beef felt like sand in my mouth, beans were not even pinto beans they were navy beans with hot dog in it. Just writing this makes me want to vomit because it was so gross. I’ve never had food with literally no taste, no salt, no seasoning. Tortillas were burnt. Just a horrible experience.

Love it!
Right off the freeway. My family was hangry. Stopped by to get a bite due to 59 traffic and boy was it a great idea. Definitely recommend it to anyone! Food was fast! And the taste definitely has that authentic flavor.

This used to be one of my favorites in Houston. Every time I go to Houston I stop here, but this last time the food quality wasn’t good at all. The service is really great though. I had ordered delivery and they called me directly from restaurant to tell me they were out of an item and asked about a substitution. I hope this was just an off day, because this was one of my favorite places.

I ordered mole enchiladas, queso, tortilla soup, and a kids cheese enchilada through delivery. Everything is so BLAND, no salt or flavor whatsoever. The beans and rice are practically inedible. The queso is gelatinous and tasteless. The ‘tortilla soup’ is flavorless and is just caldo de pollo with tortilla strips on the side. The reason I gave 2 stars rather than one is because the mole is actually decent.
Please salt and flavor your food! That queso is the worst I’ve ever had.

We went here after we saw some out of town gamers visit here on one of their YouTube videos. I’ve honestly passed by this restaurant for at least 15 years and never thought to stop by and try it. The food and service is great. If you like spice, the red salsa here is for you. I ate so much of it I barely ate my entree. The green salsa I didn’t care for, I might have if I tried it first but when I had that red salsa I couldn’t stop. We got street tacos and carne guisada. It all came out quick, everything we asked for we were given. Service was quick and attentive. Food was delicious. We did go early because we wanted to beat the lunch rush. They had live music, which was nice and different. The only reason atmosphere didn’t get 5 stars is because the parking is a little tricky. The restaurant is between the 59 feeder and westpark street. So parking is a little tricky they have parking on both sides of the restaurant but they aren’t connected so to access the other side you have to get back on the street and try to make it to the other side. We lucked out and found the last spot on one side but it is worth it. We paid $36 for the food, Mexican coke and tip. We would def come back to try other menu items and try breakfast. This is a good option for us when we want to go to Micro Center since they are down the street from each other.

I ordered to go 2 street taco plates. One Carne asada the other Pollo. I subbed the beans for rice. The rice was good, but the Carne asada was well well done and hard to chew. The chicken was good but greasy. The chiles toreados were missing on both plates. I wouldn’t have cared to write a review, but I love chiles toreados, and for a $30.00 lunch, it seems high. Ok, well I expect my order to have everything I paid for. So I’m leaving advice for the future. Don’t leave out chiles. Leave out grease or oil on tinga and throw overcooked steak away. Serve fresh.
It’s partially my fault because I should have checked the order before I left. Walked out, and didn’t see the missing chiles until I was too far away to come back. Thanks
