The taco’s al pastor were some of the best I’ve ever had. The horchata tasted great, but had a bit too much grit to it IMHO. Not exactly designed as an eat-in place, it’s better suited for to go orders.

Love this place they are very friendly and the atmosphere is very clean. I usually get street tacos, steak or shrimp which is over the top GOOD! Also, the absolute best birria tacos I’ve ever had hands down!

Heard about this place being authentic Mexican, not being Mexican I’m not sure what that is. However the Burrito I got was fabulous. I asked for heat and I got heat. The place is a little hard to find, tucked away beside a gas station. There is a side patio area with a TV for eating outside.

We decided to charge our car at an EVgo station since we get free charging for two years. With no stations close by, we make an effort to try new restaurants whenever we charge. Today, we visited **Taqueria Sope Express**. It’s a tiny spot, with just a small two-top table and a counter along the walls with stools—definitely more of a takeout place.
I originally wanted three tacos (asada, carnitas, and barbacoa), but due to a bit of a language barrier, I ended up with four tacos—two asadas and two barbacoa—when I really only wanted one of each. It was a bit confusing.
My husband ordered a burrito, which he thought was good but nothing extraordinary. If you’re dining in and want water, note that they only offer bottled water, so you’ll need to pay for it or pick another beverage.
Overall, I don’t think I’d come back—it’s more suited for takeout, and the food didn’t stand out enough for a return trip.
