Wow! What an awesome little restaurant! We decided to roll the dice and went there for dinner. I was totally blown away by the quality and the quantity of the food and the friendly service! The interior decore was fantastic with beautiful and colorful tables and chairs. The place was clean and spotless too!
They serve some of the BEST Mexican food out West! I’ve eaten Mexican cuisine in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. But so far, this has been the restaurant that made me go WOW after my first bite! All the ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection with passion! And the portion sizes were HUGE! They come on a 12 to 14 inch plate packed with food in every inch of that plate! My pictures really don’t do justice as to the portion sizes and freshness of the food. I highly recommend the Chimichanga, Super Burrito, and the Carnita platter. The pork carnitas had the perfect crispness on the outside yet juicy tenderness inside — which is quite a difficult feat. However, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items.
The restaurant itself is pretty small. Ordering part was self-service by going up to the counter. Once your order is placed, then they bring the food to your table.
The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The nice young lady that served us.antioned that they have been there since 1986. She is the granddaughter of the founder of this restaurant. I’ve visited Santa Rosa off and on for many years and never knew about this place — quite shamefully. This is a must visit restaurant. I know this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant and I plan to dine here every time I’m in Santa Rosa!

We love the Taqueria de Santa Rosa. Any chance we get, we grab a table outside and share a meal. The food is fantastic and always a lot of it for a great price. There is always plenty of food to take home with us when we leave. The owners and staff are wonderful too. Because they are, we gladly spend our dollars with them. We highly recommend you share a meal there too. When a restaurant has excellent food, personable staff, and owners dedicated to making the best dining experience for their customers, it is the perfect place to share a meal with those you love!

Whatever you do. Don’t go off the price of the menu online. They false advertise on the price of the burritos, so I can only imagine what else their false advertising. Also, their burritos don’t come with cheese, and they tried to charge me $4 for a slice of cheese on a burrito. And I ordered a burrito with no beans in it, and asked for just a little bit of extra meat in place of the beans and they charged $6 for a spoonful of carniasada, if you like honesty and integrity in the people that make your food. This is not the place I would recommend. And, once again, you can’t go by the price online. I’m pretty sure they just make up pricing As they’re going along with the order.

You know the food is good when their Birria is on point homie!! This place’s flavor was delicious!! I could eat a whole plate of the queso birria!!! Yummm. A little difficult to pull into the parking lot when you coming from the wrong direction, but if you look at the maps and get it right, you will be ok. My kiddo got a bean, rice and cheese burrito, we got a taco salad (the shell wasn’t the tastiest tho and there could have been more toppings) and a super burrito. Everything was pretty good, but the queso birria is what I’ll be coming back for!!! Mmmmm.

The carne asada had a nice char, the tortillas were soft but sturdy, and the salsas offered a good mix of mild and spicy. It’s a solid spot for a satisfying and hassle-free taco meal when you want authentic, no-frills Mexican food.

Worst place ever, I ordered Huevos Rancheros this is what I get, without salsa either when I paid for extra chips and extra salsa, the bags of chips had literally 4 chips and the salsa less that an half. I had to drive to return the order because on the phone they said they can’t do anything. I show them what I had and what I paid and their excuse was, sorry the owner never changed the menu. So we sent what we thought you wanted.

I really enjoyed the 2-enchilada combo I got. Non-spill packaging, large portions, flavorful rice & beans. I like that they offer ground beef enchiladas too – they probably aren’t traditional, but I love em. Not a huge fan of their free chips, but good salsa. My partner got the carne asada super burrito and said it was really good. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The food was amazing!! i went with my husband and our baby a weekend ago and omg!! the food is so good, and tastes authentic. the food was also very reasonably priced. I got a Mar y Tierra burrito and my husband got the Chilaquiles with birria and they were so good. the food portion is a lot , so it is definitely worth it. With drinks and all, we spent about 52$

Amazing food and everyone is always nice. I’ve been returning back here between classes and it’s perfect to finish your day with an amazing meal. They speak both English and Spanish so don’t worry if you’re not sure about asking questions and suggestions.
