The food was delicious I got my favorite go to item at a Mexican restaurant a dish called molcajete.
However the service I received was little to none the whole hour – half hour I was there I only saw my waiter 3 times and he never offered a refill and when I was ready to leave I got of waiting for him so I went to the counter and got them to ring me up so I could pay. And the pricing was average on what you’d expect to spend elsewhere in my opinion. Would I recommend eating there. Most definitely, nice place, good vibes, and great food. I just simply had a unattentive waiter is my only complaint

This is my most favorite Mexican restaurant this side of the river. I have ordered many many of the items and have yet to find one that was not just delicious. Everyone who works here is also just a pleasure to see. They all seem to luv their job. Which always makes for a great lunch. The salsa is great the beef taco is almost too pretty to eat!!!! I love their enchiladas especially when I ask for a spinach one. It’s not just dry can spinach like most others.

Taqueria San Miguel delivered a 5-star experience from start to finish. We came with a party of 20, and Luis the manager and his staff were amazing. Friendly, attentive service and great food made everything smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.

I went during lunch. There was a bit of a wait between being seated and the server coming to the table. He didn’t say hi or my name is, he asked what we wanted to drink. Sigh…
Anyways, a person walked by prior to the server coming to the table and took our drink order.
We told the server we would like to order since we were waiting for our beverages.
The food came quickly and was very good.
The check came quickly which was good as well.
We were late from lunch.
The restaurant is nice just the same and I will go back.

I’ve been a regular here for like.. 8 years and it just now occurred to me I’ve yet to give them a review.
Love, love, love this place! I come about once a week, and it’s always good! Usually the service is pretty predictable, and the price is hard to beat. I get their street tacos, rarely do I venture off from that.
Their chips and salsa are my favorite! I moved off to Florida and search high and low and never found a place I liked as much as San Miguel!
So obviously I had to move back, just for the salsa.

We’re not sure how this place only has a 4.5 overall! It was amazing! We ordered queso, beef chimichangas, a taco salad, and a carnitas taco. All cooked to perfection and definitely in the top 3 (if not #1) of TexMex from Louisiana to Missouri by far.

First time eating here. I had the shredded beef brisket enchilada and a cheese enchilada. Both wee really good, especially the shredded beef enchilada. Joaquin was my server and he was excellent. I will definitely be back and recommend to all of my friends!

We were visiting Shreveport and had a taste for some street tacos. This place did not disappoint! The chorizo queso was delicious. I kept finding myself digging my chip in because it was so addictive. The birria and street tacos were delicious. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food. So glad we stopped here for a bite before heading back to Texas!

I am so disappointed regarding my take out order. I ordered the cheese brisket tacos. One hardly had any meat and no cheese at all. None of them were cooked fully. There was little to no cheese in all three tacos. I don’t understand why the to go orders have been like this. We order to go almost every Friday, and I’ve been disappointed all but one Friday. I don’t understand why the to go orders are not made at the level of the sit-in restaurant orders.
