This place is in a gas station. I don’t know if this is a working gas station but the pumps was not working. But the store inside is great but the Taqueria is inside the store. It’s a small space it has like 4 tables four people per table and a little bar you can sit if you want to see them make your food. We tried the birria taco special worth it. The tacos yummy and the broth was wow great for dipping the tacos. And the best as well was the gorditas, fresh made tortillas that’s already a plus. Come to this place try the birria taco special and gorditas recommended 5 out of 5. Now that we came again after 2 years and its still as good. Wow its crazy. This is the only place where the birria tacos and consome are a 5 out of 5.

My boyfriend and i are probably one of the biggest taco enthusiasts out there, and while visiting mesquite we thought to stop by and grab some birria. The workers were extremely friendly, and the flavor was IMPECCABLE- but we were extremely disappointed by the portion sizes. The birria tacos mostly had fat and the gorditas were only filled up 1/4 of the way as shown in my picture.

8/23/23, I’m really sad it’s come to this but the order I purchased for my family was a letdown. The barbacoa taco plate I ordered for my mom had nothing but fat, my dad’s carnita taco plate was all salty and greasy, and my quesabirria tacos weren’t crispy but was greasy and had fat as well. Man I really adored this taqueria when I first tried their quesabirria tacos, they were so the best, until now. Guess it’s time to move on..

The only semi-good thing about this place was the tacos, but even they were just ok. The gordita and quesadillas were very basic. I think I spent about $23 here and the food was definitely not worth it for that price, I would not come out of my way to eat here again. There are far better places in Austin.

My husband and I were in the area and decided to try this taqueria. We ordered their special 5 tacos de birria con consome for $14.50 and wow they were so good! Good size tacos with a lot of meat! Flavor was so good. My husband liked how they add repollo (cabbage) in the consome. We will definitely come back and I definitely recommend!

Wasn’t expecting to find to a good place to have lunch, and let me tell you the tacos were tremendous. The sauces from both bottles was great on everything. The gorditas are a must.

I Google top rated tacos, and this place popped up. It’s inside this gas station. It has tables and chairs to sit and eat. I ordered Tacos de Fajitas y Fajitas de Gorditas . My mother ordered Gorditas de Chicharrones w/Nopales. It was delicious, the portions of the food were on point, and it had the right amount of flavor of the meat. The ladies who made the food they are kind, very good customer service, they have patience for their customers when they order. They repeat the order back to be sure they have everything corrected. I would definitely recommend this taqueria to my coworkers, friends, and family.

This place is a convenience store. I am never too embarrassed to reveal that the best damn food can be bought at convenience stores/ gas stations, but it is true. I’m not talking about 7-11 weenies on a roaster or QT hot dogs, no offense to either establishment, but I’m talking real authentic food, not costing 1/4 of a car payment. Plus, these lovely ladies allow me to take time stuttering my broken Spanish. Can’t go wrong here!

I don’t normally eat in gas station restaurant food but tried this place and so far I have a new spot close to me to get my taco fix! The ladies working are really sweet and friendly. They keep their space and tables clean.
So far I’ve had their fajita corn tacos and even though they are small they are still worth the price (the price is a little more than the pic on Google). The flavor was very good and they were juicy and not dry. I’ve also had their Birria Taco special and that was also very good with lots of flavor, the meat was just a tad dry but at the same time juicy especially with the great consume that comes with it. Their elote is one of my favorites because it’s not spicy and I enjoyed the sweet corn flavor with all the ingredients. And they had a ripe pineapple fruit cup with chili and chamoy and the jicama and cucumber cup is good as well. I will definitely be back!
