I completely understand that technical issues can happen, so I calmly tried to figure out with her what might have gone wrong. I even offered to show my order receipts for confirmation. Unfortunately, instead of discussing the situation, she repeatedly interrupted me, dismissed what I was saying, and refused to look at the receipts.
I understand that some situations are out of an employee’s control, and I wasn’t upset about the error itself — I was just trying to have a quick conversation about possible solutions. However, the attitude and unwillingness to listen made the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant.
I recently had one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences at this Subway location, and I feel compelled to share what happened.
I placed a mobile order ahead of time to save time, expecting a quick pickup. When I arrived at the store, I noticed the employees were busy serving customers who had just walked in. I politely informed one of the staff members that I was there to pick up my mobile order. Instead of acknowledging it, they continued to serve new customers, completely ignoring my order.
I waited for over 40 minutes in the store, watching multiple walk-in customers get served while my order—which should have been prepared ahead of time—was nowhere in sight. When I tried to follow up, one of the employees was incredibly rude. He told me to cancel my order and even remarked, “We’re not short of customers,” as if my time and business didn’t matter.
The lack of respect for mobile orders and the dismissive attitude of the staff made this an awful experience. I’ve always appreciated the convenience of mobile ordering, but this location clearly doesn’t prioritize it—or common courtesy.
I ended up leaving without my food, frustrated and disappointed. If you’re considering placing a mobile order here, think twice. The staff seems indifferent, and you might end up wasting your time.
I hope Subway addresses this issue, because no customer should be treated this way.
