Not really a place to dine in, everything is served to go, they do have one small outdoor table and counters to dine atinside, but the food was excellent They make their own flour tortillas that were really good. Giant portion sizes hence the above average cost per taco. Two meats plate was great and the tortas are your typical toppings and good bread. Salsa rojo and verde were good too.

This is a little unassuming place, just off highway 71. Nothing fancy, just some great food. I’ve been eating at this place for over 20 years, and it still tastes exactly the same, delicious! What sets this place apart from every other Taqueria I’ve eaten at, is the house made fresh flour tortillas. Simply the best tortillas I’ve ever tasted. And it’s not even close. The tacos are large, one is a meal for me, baby burrito sized. And the tortilla is the star of the show. I could go on and on, but just try them for yourselves.

It’s mainly take out but there are tables outside and chairs inside but it’s people waiting for their order. I love their tacos. They’re the size of burritos.

Don’t bother ordering what you want because they want make it the way you want it. Use to be a good place but now overpriced and can’t even get your order right last 5 times it wasn’t even close. Will never eat here again

The tacos are huge and taste great! I will definitely be coming here again. I wish they had more seating just in case if coming with a group. There are a few outside tables with stumps as seats, I personally like that touch. See pictures. Not sure if they have restrooms or not.

For our first time experiencing Taqueria Rio Verde, we pulled off the road onto a gravel bed packed with vehicles in front of a small metal building with the business’s sign out front.
Entering the front door, you are hit with a blast of cold air and a line of folks waiting for their orders and those to place their food orders. Be prepared to take your food to go as there is no dine in, now they do have a couple of stools with a 12″ bar for you to try and enjoy your tacos from but more than half of the stools are being used by customers waiting on orders togo.
The tacos we ordered through a small slide window to an employee who had difficulty answering a few simple questions were mouth-watering. Hand-made tortillas along with salsa that had a kick and the size of a baseball bat handle easy! I could only eat one and was full ! Finally, the cost was a bit high. For 4 tacos, a tea, and a bottled coke, it was $20.50.
