Wait at the front to be seated, and pay at the bar when you’re done.
We tried a couple menu items as it was our first time. The birria Quesadilla was stuffed with birria and melted cheese, and the consomé was so tasty. Excellent value for the price! The mega burrito was also delicious and extremely filling with a generous portion of protein. The guacamole had a nice spice to it, and a punch from the lime, which I appreciated. Although the tortillas were very crisp, almost a bit stale biting into, they didn’t taste stale – perhaps they’re just thicker than what I’m used to.
The Christmas music was a little bit loud to comfortably hold a conversation, but I do prefer a less stimulating environment, so that’s likely not the average opinion.
All the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Despite being very busy, it didn’t take long for our order to come out. I look forward to coming back to try other items next time I’m in the area.
I have never given zero tip ever. Today’s the first time I gave zero tip at a dine-in restaurant. The service here is unbearably bad! After I was seated it took them about more than 10 minutes to get someone to take my order. Then I waited for 40 minutes before my food was served. When I tried to pay the bill, the lady at the counter completely ignored me. After I waited for 10 minutes I asked how long do I need to wait and she replied very rudely: a long time! What do you want!
Don’t come here if you want to have an enjoyable meal. Taco Bell is probably more enjoyable than here.
The food is urban style , it is not a classic restaurant it is more like a home type which makes you feel like home .
There is only one little thing that makes the place really bad tho….. that is the washroom, they really don’t take care very well of washroom when they are busy …. and I think and as a business owner I always said that the quality , safety and hygiene is the priority in every business.
So I hope next time I go , they would improve it.
My family and I are very regular customers, we love the food and prices too
Pastor, chorizo carnitas and chicken.
Shrimp and fish. The meat is so tender
And juicy. We also shared fresh guacamole and chips. And churros for dessert. Which were yummy. Service was excellent.
Presentation: 5/5
Food: 7/5
Amount: 8/5 compared to other taco places the amount of meat and price per taco is insane.
My personal fave is the Carne Asada Platter.
That was literally steak meat.
Lengua taco was my second favorite!
Side guacamole and pico de gallo was small for $3 each, next time I’d definitely get the individual guacamole and pico de gallo instead but the rest had really good portion.
I have been to Mexico so this is more than friggin LEGIT! Thank you for the great food!
Orders:
Taco – carne asada, Alambre, lengua, birria
Birria tacos (pan fried orange colored tacos)
Carne asada platter
Side – pico de gallo, guacamole
The menu is extensive, and sharing is easy and rewarding. The service is friendly, but rather chaotic, so be ready to speak up as needed.
Everything we tried was really, really satifying, and the portions were beyond expectations. This is an excellent casual dining choice.
The food is good and affordable. You can order first and pay later at the counter.
The service was not bad. Overall, it is recommended for those who wanna try Mexican cuisine. I am sure you will enjoy it.
