Came here and ate a burrito and a tlayuda and was somewhat disappointed. The food tasted good but there was hardly any meat in my burrito. The tlayuda lacked flavor and agua de Jamaica was a little watered down. Also, I noticed they had some eggs sitting out which I’m not sure is ok to do. Overall, it was ok.

The service here is always great. We usually go as a group of 7-10. They get our order in quick and the food come out hot and fresh. They have a unique Oaxaqueno dish called Tlayuda, I usually get it with carne asada. My husband gets the mixed fajitas which comes with rice and beans and tortillas. We always share because the two dishes goes well together. Best Oaxacan food in that area in our opinion.

Walked in this morning like 5min before opening. The doors were open their sign was out with their specials for the day. I walked in and there were like four ladies all eating on a table. Nobody said anything. So I asked them if they were open; they asked me to leave. I understand I was early but if you’re not open then done put your sign out and leave doors open. I seriously didn’t know their hours until now. It was embarrassing and humiliating. Will never bother to go there again.

I smelled the food while I was doing laundry at the laundromat across the parking lot. By the time my laundry was done I was set on trying it. They were friendly and made a to-go order so fast. The food was amazing. I had the Mexican steak plate. It was so flavorful. I did not even try any of the salsa or sauce they included. Highly recommend!

Affordable and delicious. The employees are nice, but they don’t all speak English – because this place is auténtico !
Honestly, I’ve only tried the carne asada torta and it is one of the best I’ve had. The bread is perfection. Lightly toasted on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. The Carne asada is seasoned well. The pickled jalapeños and carrots add the perfect bit of bite and the mayonnaise adds a bit of zing. We went twice in 24 hours for the same thing and we’ll be back again.
It’s a good place to practice your Spanish, too.

Not really any atmosphere to speak of but the food is as close to authentic Mexican as you can get inside the USA. It is also making me learn a little Spanish in order to communicate my orders.

Great tacos.
It gets a little crowded but our server was awesome.
It was our first time there so had to try a couple of things. Had a Barbacoa and an Al Pastor.
Then 2 Carne Asada taco supreme. All were excellent.

This was my first time at this Taqueria and my last. Terrible service, poor quality food and most of all, they overcharge. I ordered 3 chicharrón tacos for $8.97 and my friend ordered 3 asada tacos for $8.97, plus 1 Coca-Cola for $3.50 and a coffee for $2.99, which comes to a total of $24.43. To this, $2.00 (we don’t know why) was added to the bill, resulting in $26.43, plus $1.07 for tax, which comes to a total of $27.50.

I went here the other day and had the tacos Al Pastor–for $1.50 a taco pretty amazing!! The spicy sauce has a kick.
Update: after I went here I saw that this place got a C rating from the health department. Eat at your own risk.
Another update: there are two Taqueria Oaxaquenas in Canton, and this is the other one. Enjoy!
