Fantastic, family owned restaurant with great, authentic Mexican food. I love their quesadillas and birria, but really everything on their menu is great. Specials are also always a hit so highly recommend seeing what they have going on when you visit. You can definitely tell that the family cares and is passionate about making great food for their guests. Everyone that I recommend here loves it and betting you will too.

I love churros and these definitely didn’t disappoint!!! They are served warm with filling, might be caramel I’m not exactly sure but it’s really good not to sweet goes with the churros perfectly. It also has the most filling I’ve ever had in a churro it literally exploded out when I bit it but they didn’t become soggy or anything and it was a good amount for $6.
I also got the birria tacos and they were delicious I love the flavors of the sauces. I will say these were the thinnest birria tacos I’ve ever had I would appreciate more meat. The green peppers that were served with them were so good with the tacos and the spicy red sauce !

The sauce that came with their chips were spicyyyyyy ️ not unbearable but not what we expected so just be warned!
I tried the huaraches with Al pastor. It was good. I would get it again. The think bottom layer reminded me of papusas

Quite honestly the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I was in Philly for a recent day trip and we stopped here for a bite to eat. The chips and salsa alone were fresh and I knew just from the chips and salsa we were in for a treat. The carnitas tacos were so moist and succulent. The al pastor, and birria tacos were just as good.
The owners were extremely nice and I’ve been on a hunt to find Mexican food as equally good here in Baltimore and have been unsuccessful. I’ll be coming back to Philly for many more day trips just for Taqueria Morales 🙂

The tacos are absolutely delicious (I got chicken tinga) and the portion size is great for the price. Service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Couldn’t have been more pleased and will definitely be back!

I ordered my first ever Birria tacos with a side of rice and they were delicious and fresh. The free chips and salsa were delicious because you could taste everything was homemade. Lunch was a true success today. I dined in with my coworkers and the workers were safe and so friendly. It’s refreshing to have such great service along with great food.

I saw this restaurant reviewed by one of the YouTubers I follow and HAD to go! We traveled from the DMV to Philly and so glad we did! The owner was SO nice. Just as nice as she was in the video. The food was DELICIOUS and so filling!! Definitely authentic mexican food. There was mexican music playing and the decor to match. A great family friendly, warm and welcoming environment. We will definitely return!!

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in the city! I got the tacos de cochinita pibil and they were outstanding. Great portions and the price is great, especially considering how high-quality the food is. You can tell a lot of care goes into the meals here. Highly recommend!
