The rice and beans were some of the best I’ve had in comparison to other Mexican restaurants (who serve similar rice and beans). I had the quesadilla dinner (chicken) and it was good. I also ordered guacamole and I’ve had better. There was no seasoning in it.
Service was good and the staff were very friendly. The menu is expansive.
Below is what we ate just recently. Pozole soup ($19)…a little on the steep side… Chicken a la parilla. (highly recommend this one)…Taco’s (you can’t screw that one up). Still good. Torta de Milanesa de Pollo…..my sister liked it.
Overall! I still highly recommend this place. Bathrooms usually clean along with the restaurant. Very spacious inside, so you do not feel crowded.
We seriously have been here in the last 10 years…bout 25 times.
Well,….WOW! It was AMAZING! From the start, we were given some VERY GOOD chips and salsa, and then we ordered our food…I honestly dont remember what it was called, but it was REALLY GOOD, and the portion size was ample and filling! The server was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was really cool. I also liked the way the building looked inside! It was very inviting, and there was this WONDERFUL SMELL of all that was being cooked and served while we were there! I would say 10 our of 10 overall for the experience. We’ve been to Mexicantown in the past when we lived in Michigan, but this was the first time in a LONG time that I had ever eaten here! If I’m ever in the Detroit area again, and want Mexican, this will be my “go to” spot! I left very full and enjoyed the dining experience immensely! So Gracias por ustedes Muy Bueno y muy Sabroso Comida Mexicana!!!!
