I feel this is one of the best over all Mexican restaurants I’ve experienced! Service was kind and on top of drinks! The food was absolutely amazing, tasted real and home made,rather than over processed. It tasted like it was made from their soul lol. I definitely recommend dining here ! The atmosphere was so lovely ! Love the hand carved and painted art, and chairs/ bench seats! Awesome place!

I didn’t want to leave this review but I felt like it was needed and necessary!! I have been wanting to try this spot for a while and brought my girlfriend here for dinner!! Atmosphere and vibe was cool!! The service was on point!! The food was some of the best Mexican I’ve ever had at a restaurant!! We paid our bill and sat there for a minute to finish our drinks!! As we sat there talking, I looked down and saw a German cock roach crawl across the table!! I don’t think I need to elaborate much on this!! As good as it was this was enough for me not to go back!! I’m sorry!!

Los Rancheros was closed for good or remodeling so me and my 2 guy roomies decided to try Taqueria. The decor is awesome. However the parking is so much of a headache! Then it took us over an hour to be seated. They brought us a small cup of salsa and a basket of chips for 3 people (and 2 of which are big guys)! Then when they brought us our food they didn’t bring utensils and we had to ask for those. My roommate’s liked their food but me, I eat fajitas every Mexican restaurant I dine at… and the fajitas at Taqueria were bland and flavor-less. They offered very little for sour cream, pico, beans, or guac. They never came back except to ask if we needed a to go box and then took forever to get our check. Getting out of their parking lot is just as bad as getting in and I was thankful to make it out with no damage! I would NOT recommend this is place! Not because of the parking or the wait in particular but because of flavorless fajitas and small portions!

We were really happy to have visited this restaurant. I took my husband here for his birthday and surprised him with his family already being there. The servers were already aware of the surprise and did a wonderful job recognizing us and guiding us to our table. The place is quaint but has amazing vibes. The appetizers were delicious, and if you get the sampler then that’s basically a whole meal. I ended up ordering the Carne Asada with no beans and it came out perfectly! The taste was amazing and the skirt steak was cooked to perfection. I am not a big Mexican food fan, but this place has opened my eyes to trying more food from here!

I ordered the Mojarra Frita and Chile Toreados. It was absolutely divine! I had to take a bite before taking the photo lol. The person who seated me at the bar had excellent customer service! After a long day… I definitely appreciated the hospitality:). Definitely go here if you want AUTHENTIC Mexican food!

My family and I love this Mexican food hot spot. Based on the packed parking lot apparently a lot of other people do too! They have karaoke night each week and they are packed out on Fridays. The food is CONSISTENTLY fresh, hot and yummy. Customer service is A+. At this time I am hooked on their authentic mexican tacos. Their chicken is awesome, tender and tasty in any dish. The shrimp is always fresh, large and juicy. Their chips are fresh, hot, thin and crispy. The salsa is fresh and tasty as well. They don’t mind giving you extra chips and salsa if you ask. They have many delicious dishes- nachos, cheese dip, tacos, quesadillas and more.

Their made from scratch salsa and made from scratch hot fresh tortialla chips and yummy and free refills are available at no additional cost.These folks REALLY deliver. The food is STILL hot fresh clean delicious after all these years! Our server was wonderful. I took pictures this time too! Sorry the salsa cup is almost empty…its THAT good. Two tacos are missing because we already ate them. Scrumdiddlyumptious! You MUST try this place if you are in Mobile for business, travel, vacation, etc.

If you’re looking for genuinely genuine street tacos ala taco truck, this is it. You know what I mean- Marinated pastor that melts in your mouth and leaves your fingers red. Two corn tortillas. Onion, cilantro, lime goodness. $3 each. Can’t beat that. $21 and two adults stuffed.

We went Thanksgiving. We had a good time. Service was good. Thankful that they were open on Thanksgiving that was great Food was great. Just not the best Mexican food. I’ve had you know when your best friend is Mexican. You would think everybody will put their grandmother’s foot inside the food, but unfortunately not everybody does but still good, but will I be coming back no.
