A’s I say in plenty of my restaurant reviews, I only give dine-in’s a rating of 4/5 stars – if it’s deserved, of course.
Don’t worry about the 2 or 3 stars.. It’s a small fast food joint. Just chicken, and a small inside area.
Therefore, I just rate worry the customer service. I had a huge order. Get home, 5 miles away, they forgot the Butterfly Shrimp. I called and spoke to a gentleman who prepared the order. The guy knows he made it, and gave it to whomever handled the order. He was livid. I could hear them discussing in the background. He said come back. I said I live too far, but make a note of it to your crew, and I’ll pick it up next time I’m in the area. He said no problem. I was satisfied with that.

I ordered ahead on mobile order and unfortunately when i got home i was missing a sandwich. I called on my way to request to come through drive thru and get my sandwich. The one who answered was apologetic and said it was not a problem. They not only gave me my sandwich, they gave me an extra one. The ladies at the drive thru were so nice! I even said that they didnt have to do that but that i appreciated it and they said, no they wanted to make up for me having to come back and make it right. I have gone to this popeyes off and on for years and in the past and was not always happy with the service but the last few visits they have vastly improved!

The drive thru is very slow. They actually also make you wait at order sign until they serve the car in front of you their food. It’s like doing more than 1 thing they lose track of everything. They don’t even have their own parking lot. They were literally out of fried chicken wraps today. Only had spicy 3pc ready they said. They chose my order for me in a sense…

Went to this place last night about just before 1700 (5 pm). They had no chicken tenders. Fine. We asked “what came with the 8 pc?” The lady (wish I got her name) taking our order replied “Chicken”. Like no duh. We were asking about the ratio (how many thighs, wings, etc.). So we were going to settle for it. Then there was silence. So we asked “Are you going to take our sides?” She replied “Waiting on you.”. The wait was going to be 20 minutes.
This lady was so rude. I felt like we were talking to ChatGPT. Needless to say, We cancelled the order and went to the one on Havendale in Auburndale. It was just as close, the ladies were super nice and we had our tenders in 10 minutes and apparently we weren’t the only one skipping the Winter Haven one. (I’ll write a review for them shortly). Save yourself the headache and just go to the one in Auburndale.

Food is good but poor customer service Friday it says open 10:00am-10-00pm lobby and 10am-12am drive through we got their at 10:15am drive through and a lady came through the back door and said about 15 more min before they open we said okay 30 min past we walk to the door and still locked/closed and associates just walking around staring at us. We made a 35/40 min drive to get their so of course we continued waiting

Terrible experience will never go there again. I did a mobile order through the app, got there and had to wait over 45 minutes because they didn’t have any chicken ready. I spent over $30 and finally got my order about an hour later. Went home and opened it up to see it was all cold and wrong. They gave me bone in wings when i ordered boneless. I will not be wasting my money at Popeyes anymore.

Anytime I order even 5 hours in advance. They can’t get my order right. You would be wise to not order from here off of the app. White meat or dark meat or custom orders don’t matter. They put whatever they feel like in the box. Next time I’m going to KFC.

I drive 30 min to this popeyes location 3/8/25 at 10:00 am . A employee came out The back door Drive thru and told me that They’re not taking no orders until 10:30 am. I said the online website n on your door say 10:00 am. She said, let me go ask my manager. Managers say no until 10:30. I am calling corporate they refuse 2.
Take my order when the time says they open at 10:00 am. I just wanted to order was just some red beans and rice n a biscuits. The doors was locked too the time says 10:00 am. A old lady who is a customer. I had to let her know what they told me. They definitely lost business. Because of their employees. Refusing to take a customer order when the company door n website says open at 10:00 am. U was there for 13 mintues .Definitely will not be back. I used to be a regular here. I am calling corporate to file a complaint.

I went through the drive thru. The girl taking my order was hard to understand. After giving her my order she asked me ti wait a minute. I gave her my order again. I was the only one in line .At the window my total was diy le what it should have been. I told her my order again. She rolled her eyes. Took my credit card. She prepared my order. She started to hand it to me and asked if I wanted a drink. It came with the meal I ordered. She handed me my order with my receipt and card. I asked her what the total was and she told me to look at my receipt. She handed me my drink 3/4 full. I had been driving for 4 hours or I would have went into the store. I tried to call them when to got home 3x and no answer. Unacceptable!
