Overall this was a great little hidden gem. Service was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. We got the shrimp and a taco salad and both were fresh and tasted great. The shrimp were also cleaned properly which was great. Overall don’t judge this book by its cover. The inside is clean and it is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Came for a late lunch with a coworker and we were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all and we were able to receive our food quickly. You’re presented with multiple dips to start out with which we enjoyed and I added on an order of guacamole (made at the table). I really enjoyed the guacamole as it was fresh and paired nicely with the chips.
For my main, I ordered a cup of chicken soup and fajita chicken taco salad. Both items were very filling and I enjoyed the flavor of the soup!
My only complaint is the walk to the bathroom and inside it – the floors were very slippery so be cautious of that! If I’m ever in the area again, I would return.

Let’s start with this! I’m a new customer who visits this restaurant every other day for happy hour and out to eat. The food and drinks are incredible, and I absolutely love the guacamole and patron margaritas. Parking can be a challenge, so I recommend arriving early to secure a spot. The combination of chips and salsa is simply delicious. The customer service is exceptional! I’ve discovered a new favorite spot for happy hour that doesn’t require me to drive all the way to Waxahachie!

I’m from out of town and I love good authentic mexican food. From my lovely server , who was engaging and helpful with the menu and my food options, to the lively , clean atmosphere of the restaurant, and finally landing on my fantastic food. I ended up with flautus de pollo. The entire experience was wonderful.Thank you guys so much for an amazing meal. It was my first day off in a long , long time , and I needed the good food. Today i tried this place with high hopes seeing that this establishment had great reviews. Unfortunately i felt completely let down. The service was pretty good, our waitress was attentive and the environment was a solid 6/10. The food however was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the beef fajita and enchilada plate and the whole thing was just floating in grease. Now i do enjoy some grease (for me its supposed to be the “extra flavor” coming out) but this was super excessive. I could not eat my whole plate because it was just saturated. Not to mention the actual fajita tasted like chef mike (microwave) cooked up the most gristly piece of meat they could find. The beans were ok, and the rice surprisingly was good. But thats all. As far as their queso, yeah that was just reheated tostitos cheese dip. Salsa ill give a 5/10… its ok. They also give you complimentary warm bean dip. It really shouldnt be out there. The other plate my wife had was their Flauta plate. Again… same greasy ocean. Too much for anyone. Their tortillas as well were not bad but if im being honest, chef mike seems to be involved in everything. Nothing was fresh. Again, i was really hoping for a good food experience, but was so disappointed. As mentioned before though, our waitress was great. But thats really it. I will not be recommending to anyone unfortunately.

Just FYI this their so called a pound of beef fajita. Called to clarify this and the lady said that the meat that they use for their beef taco is the same. Im like we both know this is not beef fajita. And she just said im new here etc.

I ordered online through their website. What I received and what I ordered not the same thing and missing items from my order. Spoke with Dianna. The Assistant Manager provided no assistance. I said I can go back anytime for my sour cream (The piece of purpose of wanting it to eat with my breakfast at the moment). That was missing. But didn’t have a care in the world about the pictures showing online versus what I ordered or not the same. She said there was. Nothing she can do about that.

It’s not a bad small Mexican spot. It’s looks to have been a fast food spot turned into a restaurant with full service/host and bar set up.
We tried the queso and was pretty good. I got the La Mexicana with taco, enchilada, and tostada, which was good, too. The wife had the chicken, which was also good.
Staff friendly and great about checking up on us. Full menu available at drive thru, which is crazy to see.
All in all, it’s not a bad place to eat. Nothing really popped out, but overall, it was very good.
