Overpriced and unappetizing. For my recent to go order all I received was Soggy nachos. Sloppy under filled tacos with no flavor and a Torta that was not filling, looked like they slapped minimum ingredients on it that was more bread then ingredients. Prices on the online menu are not the same as in person, as the in person prices are way higher. Was not worth it.

I haven’t had authentic home made Mexican food in a really long time, thank God I found this hidden gem that served me the most home cooked meal from Mexico I’ve ever had, it almost felt like my own mother was cooking these meals! Will be coming back frequently to eat in this establishment!

Good authentic Mexican food in the area! I had a steak torta and a taco of chorizo and one of carnitas. Everything was tasty! You have to walk up to order but they bring you the food. I will be back!

My first time here and definitely not my last. These tacos were incredible. The meat was flavorful , the spice was just right, and the Chile poblano and grilled cebolla that came with it were excellent . Helpful and pleasant staff .I also got the horchata that was perfect and not too sweet . I enjoyed my experience and can’t wait to come back for my taco fix !

It’s was my first time here, the food was delicious, spicy, just the way I like it. I ordered grilled beef tacos and chicken and beef tortas. The place was very cozy and homey, and the food was home style. ❤️Affordable prices, 30 per person. The staff wasn’t there much. It was Tuesday, I don’t know if it was that day, but thanks to the only young waitress who was there doing an exceptional job, very attentive, very good and pretty by the way ,respect boss more salary for her . a place to visit during the day, less busy. @Johnny.melara10

Ok so i orderd the chilaquiles with beef and the ceviche and a drink and it came to $56 definitley pricey as heck but it was definitelty good. The ceviche had lots a big shrimp inside and very flavorful. The chilaqulies was a nice size. I enjoyed my food, but will I return probably no its a little too expensive.

I’m so disappointed, I ordered 2 orders of chicken enchiladas at 12 on a Saturday and all I got was a tray full of Verde sauce. Menu says it comes with rice and beans, it did not. Yes they give you 4 enchiladas but it’s got about a tablespoon of chicken in each so really its just a tray of tortillas lettus tomatoes and Verde sauce. I spent almost $50.00 dollars on a meal with almost zero protein, I literally had to drive to Stop and Shop to pick up fried chicken to make up for the fact that I was still hungry. I feel cheated I should have taken those meals back and kindly asked for a refund.

I’m from Corona queens, there are taco places everywhere but since I’ve moved to Rockaway almost 8 years now I’ve looked for good Mexican food but there just isn’t any out here or at least there wasn’t until I found this place. Amazing tacos, amazing nachos, the tostada’s are killer. They are as authentic as it gets as it might as well have been my uncle back there on the grill. The prices are average prices you could expect anywhere as long as you’re a working adult. I would recommend it over every other taco place in Rockaway. And the place is great for a quiet bite to eat friendly service and just an all around good experience
