A gem! We had the tacos and chicken tamales, it was everything I hoped it would be. Just the right amount of tender meat, toppings, perfectly seasoned. The employees were also really happy and nice ready to serve:-)

This is my third time being here. First few times I had a quesadilla then tacos, came back again on a Tuesday for their taco Tuesday, came back another time and had a pombazo sandwich. Today is my fourth time and I tried something off their breakfast menu!! Huevos rancheros, I got so much food I didn’t finish it. It comes with crunchy tortilla with two sunny side up eggs, square fried potatoes, refried beans with cheese and two flour tortillas. My bf always gets 6 tacos!!
-quesadilla: 5/5 stars. Filling!! I got the mushroom one championes? I think. The whole menu is in Spanish btw.
-carnitas taco: 4/5, delicious meat!! But one of it had a giant bone in there
-chorizo taco: 5/5, my bfs fav.
-huevos rancheros: 5/5!!
They give you 3 diff types of sauces too. The green one is mild spicy.
Affordable prices. Always coming here

Delicious taqueria located off of South Cooper close to Pioneer Parkway in Arlington, Texas! Taqueria Maria Bonita serves delicious tacos and has a family-friendly environment, but be mindful of the wait time if you order to-go.
Food:
The food is delicious – some of the best tacos in town. I ordered six tacos in total with everything on them, and they came with three different salsas. Overall, no complaints and would come back just for the tacos alone! Next time, I want to try other dishes.
Service:
I will admit the service was slow when I came. I ordered these six tacos to go, and had to wait close to 25 minutes. Now I understand if it’s just the amount of time it takes to make the order, but there were a couple people who ordered after me and dined in and were served before me. Just something to note when you order takeout. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere:
Family-friendly environment with plenty of seating inside. Tables were clean and ready to be sat at.

I came to visit this restaurant for the first time we were excited because ambiance felt good and reviews were promising. We ordered a bistec taco, a pastor taco and a caldo de res. The tacos actually were good but the soup was awful, literally tasteless. As a matter of fact, you can tell the soup was water down. I told the waitress with her name tag ARA. Getting defensive she said soup is not water down but that she’ll let the cook know. She never returned. I had to eat the meat and rice as the soup base was just not possible to eat. Soup didn’t even have color. Ara completely stopped taking care of us, no drink refills and zero attention. As I was paying I again told her the soup was gross and she said cook told her they don’t water down the soup, it comes portioned which I then told if it’s boxed/can soup then since she says no water is added, she couldn’t answer me. She said why didn’t you reject it, I told her I did but you just hide and never came back. I was excited to try this place, reviews looked good but service and some food items make this place not worth it. All she needed to do was to replace the soup/change it for another item or discount it, but all ah was good at was getting defensive. You’ve been warned about this place now and about this waitress.

Street tacos are definitely the way to go for me and Taqueria Maria definitely does them right.
From the outside this place doesn’t look like much but boy is this food good! I ordered a few tacos (al pastor, carnitas and bistec) normally al pastor is my favorite but here I definitely prefer the carnitas. I also had a grilled Gordita with carnitas (my favorite dish I ordered) which was deliciously cheesy and maybe a little salty but sooo good. I also tried the fried bistec quesadilla which was also good.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I prefer my tortilla to be more on the soft side and mine weren’t as soft as I’d like. It could’ve been because I went in about an hour before close or maybe they just make them like that. Either way, still good!
And the young lady that worked there was so sweet and offered great recommendations.

Excellent, authentic Mexican street tacos!!! You cannot go wrong with the tacos and quesadillas, they are superb. Plenty of authentic meat options. Not fancy, but great service and very reasonable prices for very authentic tacos, not the typical gringo Tex Mex. Aprovecha!!!

I was denied entry at Maria Bonita Mexican Restaurant in Arlington because I didn’t have with me “service dog identification.” after I came from the park with my service animal. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses cannot require any documentation or ID for service animals — they’re only allowed to ask if it’s a service animal and what tasks it performs.l, and that wasn’t asked.
This experience was disappointing and discriminatory. I left the restaurant after I was caused more distress than I needed. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice so this business can receive proper ADA education and ensure no one else with a disability is treated this way. I advised the manager or owner I will follow with complaint in which he stated I could feel free to do whatever I need to do.
