What a great little place. They’ve changed since I was there last. They don’t have the counter where you can make pretty much anything. They only have a daily specials menu. Doesn’t matter to me since the food is so good. The staff is understanding that some people can’t understand their accent sometimes, but they’re human too so treat them with kindness. They’re just trying to make a living and judging by the food, it stands to be here for quite some time. Thanks for the amazing food!!

Went in here on Saturday night at 5:30 after the restaurant that we had tried to go to had a long wait.
We have ordered to go from here in the past and never had an issue, but unfortunately, this time everything was bad.
Only two people working. Even though only about 25% of the tables were occupied, it took nearly an hour to get us our three dishes.
During the wait I went to use the restroom. I put a lot of stock in how clean a restroom is when I recommend a restaurant.
Based on the cleanliness of this one I would not recommend anybody eat here, EVER. The men’s room toilet was overflowing with feces. So I went into the women’s room. I’m really glad that my wife and daughter didn’t need to use the bathroom while we were there. Not only was everything dirty and dingy, but the toilet was so loose in the floor that it rocked around. Also, there was paper towels, and toilet paper all over the floor, additionally, there was no hand soap when I went to wash up.
The food was OK, but for a $16 entrée at a Mexican restaurant I expect better .

My husband and I travel and go to many authentic Mexican restaurants and this is rated #1 from us. Friendly staff, great prices and the food is absolutely amazing. I cannot express how good the tamales are here.

Ordered a 15$ margarita for my girlfriend she asked for anything but bottom shelf. they decided that costs 8$ more when going to pay, I ordered tacos cilantro only and steak comes out with onions which is no problem I just asked for new ones and they charged me for those too. I do typically like their food but think people should be weary about how they charge and their ridiculous prices. Prices including 1 drink each is about 30$ per person.

The ‘Sit down and order at your table’ restaurant… The ‘Choose your own ingredients’ (like Qdoba or Subway) restaurant…. The bar…. The store….
Of course, I will only review on what we experienced. We found this place by accident. We were greeted by a lovely woman who seated us with menus. Seeing the Qdoba style setting when I first walked in worried me, as I don’t like that style of Restaurant and my Husband will take care of that for me.
It was reminiscent of the Mom-and-Pop style restaurant with the ambience of a Mexican restaurant. We were there at a less busy time, so I’m not sure if they would be able to keep that atmosphere going during rush hour. We had a wonderful time! The food was great! Although my Husband’s dish, he said, could have been a little more spicy. And didn’t come out as hot as mine did. I love chips and they brought plenty to the table.
My husband wanted to make sure that I add, in this review, that you better be ready to take a doggy bag, as they give you plenty of food! And he is a hearty eater.
I took pictures of the restaurant. As I noticed online there are many, many pictures of the food, but not so many of the inside. I hope they are clear, as I didn’t check them first..
The waitress may remember who we are, when she reads that my husband had a complaint… He told her “There’s a problem in the bathroom. The sign says ’employees must wash hands’ but no one came in to do it. I had to do it on my own!” It took her a short moment…..
We WILL be going back to this hidden gem!! …. Just Sayin’

They have a market inside that I’ve purchased excellent strip steak from, their dine-in is great also. Their service is what separates this place. Always great service. Came in for a margarita on mother’s day and all mothers got free dessert and they had live music.
