This was the worst taqueria food I’ve ever tried on top of that the young girl that rang me up charged me a dollar extra. She said 10.01 but charged me 11.01. Anyways they had no vegetarian options so I got a veggie torta, it had some grated cheese, onion, tomato and hecca watery lettuce that made the bread all soggy and the bag all watery. It was horrible. Cheap but horrible. I do not recommend this place.

The servings were really large and the price was low. Both positives. The service was quite good too. My biggest issue was that the food was pretty bland. I ordered the carnitas super wet burrito. The carnitas tasted ok but the enchilada sauce was really pretty bland. Very little spice in the sauce. My son ordered a chicken super burrito and it tasted ok as well but nothing great. I don’t think we will go back. There are other taquerias in town that I prefer.

I love going to this place. The food is very good at a fair price. The carnitas is the best I’ve had and that’s saying a lot. I travel through out the country regularly and have routinely ordered carnitas when possible and Taqueria Maguey tops them all.
