Lovely place with a unique menu and creative specials! Service was fast and friendly, and my chicken tacos with pico de gallo were absolutely sensational. The owner—who is also the chef—along with the cashier and waitstaff were all fantastic. We had a chance to chat with the owner, and his genuine passion for fresh ingredients really stood out. You can taste that commitment in every bite. With so many Mexican restaurants in Wasilla, this one truly deserves your attention—definitely give it a try!

Decided to try based on recommendation. Went for the carnitas tacos plate as they didn’t have a carnitas meal. My wife got the asada tacos plate. Carnitas was very dry and minimal spice. Asada was the same. The queso with chorizo appetizer was good. Very disappointing on the main dish taste and quantity. The service was great and atmosphere was clean and inviting. Recommend for elderly that enjoy bland food.

Great spot! For the amount of food you get, it’s well worth every dollar. I got the shredded beef chimichanga combo with red sauce, and I swear these are the best beans I’ve had. I loved the chips we got while waiting, although we didn’t have to wait long because the food came quick and hot! This chimi was so big, I could hardly eat half of it, plenty of leftovers. We were looking for a quick spot to each while running errands, and this was definitely the place for it.

Overall, highly recommended! The energy and decor is inviting and welcoming. The women, who I assume was the owner, was extremely sweet and kind. My entire family really liked everything. Kids cheese quesadillas, shrimp tacos and chicken combo plates, all really excellent. Would definitely go back.

A coworker told me about this new place, and as soon as I looked at other reviews, I RAN there. Being Mexican, I usually make my own stuff cause Tacos Cancun out here just doesn’t hit in my opinion. Now, THIS place, their beans and rice are perfect, the service time was speedy, I only waited 14 minutes for a to go order. It was also wrapped really nicely, and they gave me silverware. The salsa bar is very fresh and cleansey. 10/10, I’m glad they’re open !

Really excellent service and wonderful people! The shrimp aguachile was very good, however we tried a number of other menu items specifically to review them and they were poor quality. There are so many different Mexican food options in the valley, but for our tastes this didn’t hit the mark.

On the way to Houston, AK and found this place. Ordered chicken chimichanga, aguachille and carne asada. All were delicious. Also loved the dips/sauces bar. Definitely recommend this place

Absolutely loved this place and regret not coming here sooner. First of all the young man at the counter was very nice and helpful. These ARE the street tacos I’ve been looking for in Alaska. Three simple ingredients; cilantro, onion and asada, with the right seasoning for proper Mexican street tacos as far as what I grew up with in Nevada and California. Five tacos for $18.50 sounds a bit high but considering the prices of everything nowadays and the fact that I haven’t found these anywhere else in Wasilla or Anchorage (yet), I was more than willing and happy to pay the price. I had an horchata with the tacos and the glass was a fancy looking glass but nonetheless a great drink and nice to have it in something other than a plastic cup. I would highly recommend this place, hope it does well in business, and look forward to coming back soon and several times.
