We stumbled upon this spot…and it was delightful! (Wasn’t expecting it bc it was part of a strip mall) We snagged a spot outside bc the weather was great. The salsa was SO fresh! The Elote was tasty and the Chorizo Quesadilla was tasty! We are picky about our margaritas…and while these could have been bigger….they were very refreshing!

Stopped in for some dinner while visiting Miami. They had Tacos Barrie’s, which is one of my favorites. Their version was amazing, the best I have had and I almost ordered another batch of 3, they were so good. The service was quick and friendly. When I am back here again, i will definitely be stopping here again for the Tacos Barrias

Taqueria Los Jalapeños is a great hidden gem in the city. The food was amazing and the service was even better. I just wish the taco prices were a bit lower—you can get more for the same price at other restaurants, and I ended up having to order extra to feel full. But overall, the service was excellent, the decorations were great, there’s plenty of parking, and the little soup they give you when you sit down is an A+ touch.

This is hands down our favorite local Mexican restaurant! The food is always amazing fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality every single time we come in. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, and you can really tell they take pride in what they serve.

The service is just as great as the food. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes every visit such a great experience. Plus, the food comes out quickly without ever sacrificing quality.

We eat here at least once a week, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food and outstanding service!

This is a very happy place, they greet you with a side of “frijoles charros” which are very tasty; menu includes tacos, taquitos, chilaquiles, guacamole, birria, quesadillas, you name it!
Prices are very reasonable.

We had Lemon and Maracuyà Margaritas ( Im a maracuyà person but lemon was better).
They have karaoke and mood is very feisty, the owner or manager is a great host.

Loved the decor, based on Dia de los muertos/ COCO

Loved it‼️

If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine with an unforgettable atmosphere, Taqueria Los Jalapeños is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight into the vibrant world of Coco, with colorful décor, festive lights, and heartfelt tributes to Mexican culture that make the experience both immersive and heartwarming.

The food? Simply outstanding. Every bite tasted fresh, rich, and full of flavor—clearly made with love and tradition. The chips and queso were the perfect start: warm, crispy, and paired with a creamy, flavorful dip that disappeared fast. Their margaritas are top-tier—bold, refreshing, and perfectly mixed.

Our entrées were authentic and packed with flavor, easily some of the best Mexican dishes we’ve ever had. To top it all off, they surprised us with a delicious dessert that was the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal.

The service was warm and welcoming, the ambiance was lively yet cozy, and the whole experience left us smiling. Taqueria Los Jalapeños gets a solid 5 stars from us—highly recommended!

The place is cozy and cute, with Mexican decor and Mexican music. Service is excellent, the food was delicious and drinks too. Salsas are great, from mild to spicy. You get a little plate of free frijoles charros, which were also good. Plenty of parking. I can’t wait to go back, highly recommend.

Reminds me of the first time my childhood friends Abuela made me some authentic tacos. I’ve been this restaurant 2 times in the past week and it’s to the point I’m anticipating the next time I’m sent to the Miami/Doral area so I can eat here. If you’re looking for that small locally owned and operated Hispanic restaurant THIS IS THE SPOT!!! I haven’t had anything close to compare since I first had my friends Abuela make us tacos as they did in MEXICO. This restaurant has brought their culture and family recipes to this place and serve you a meal just as it would be at a family gathering. If you want the most authentic food straight from Mexico’s culture without the higher prices we normally pay for American/Mex that is trying to imitate the real deal then you have to go try Taqueria los Jalapeños. I’m curtain you will not be disappointed and this place will leave you craving and anticipating the next chance you get to go eat there again!!!! If you try it and disagree I encourage you to reach out, share with me your disappointment and where you find anything close to this authentic quality in the area!!! Also want to clarify I only spent $40 on food for myself because I ended up purchasing enough for 3 people because I wanted to try everything and was glad I did. First time I ate here I spent about $15 for 3 taco’s bowl of bean soup and soda for lunch.
