Taqueria Los Agaves, is a Tex-Mex Restaurant that opened its doors to the public in 2001 by Luis Leon and Cristina Leon. After 15 years of hard work and dedication they were able to acquire what has become an iconic stop in Pasadena, Texas. They were able to take their Jalisco heritage and incorporate it with the Tex-Mex cuisine. The Leon family values hard-work, honesty, and traditions. These things are what has helped them build their brand and describes them fully. Los Agaves references the fields of Blue Agaves that are used to produce Tequila. It was only fitting them to incorporate their hometown crop in to their dream. Here at Los Agaves our mission is to provide quality food and warm friendly service that feels like home.

Taqueria Los Agaves did not disappoint. The beef fajita quesadillas were awesome—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The house-made margarita with Don Julio was a standout and easily one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit.

Great food! Some of the best beef I’ve had inside a burrito. A little dry, but I’d pick flavor over juice if necessary, and the filling was delicious. Rice and beans were good too. We also enjoyed the green enchiladas.
Not the focus, but I want to mention that I really like the chips here. They’re not the super thin chips most places have; they’ve got some heft to them. I may be in the minority here, but I prefer the thicker, substantial tortilla chips.

I love this place but they started to reduce the meat portions in the to go orders. They always give me the least meat on this plate and the fajitas parrilladas

I have seen this location for a few years now but always just driving past but we came Saturday, Oct 11 and wow!!! WOW! I had been missing out! I hate I hadn’t come earlier! The atmosphere was perfect! The music was great the staff was GREAT! Tayde waited on us and SHE WAS AMAZING! She knew what to recommend and made sure we had everything we needed. Before we left it got busy but still she made sure we were ok and we needed an order to go and they all were efficient in making our food, packing it perfectly and everyone in the restaurant cooks, waitresses and all seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Makes a HUGE difference in how they serve us bc they are enjoying it.
Today, we drove the 30 min again to come back. 10/20 because we had to bring our family to try what we had experienced. Again we were lucky to have Tayde serve us. All of us were debating between 2 plates and she gracefully and very expertly suggested the BEST plates. She was patient with our indecisiveness and always attentive. We couldn’t be happier and I will ALWAYS drive the 30 min past gringos and all Tex-mex restaurants to come here. The food, the service, and the prices are superb! Come check them out, you won’t regret it!

Great place, definitely great food. The whole place has been renovated and looks amazing. 100 percent worth stopping. This is a very good addition to Pearland. If you have a chance stop ask for Alexis extremely quick and informative on the menu and the daily special.

Went through the drive thru and ordered Caldo de Res. I just want to say this is the best Caldo de Res I ever had. Meat was delicious broth amazing tortillas so yummy. I’m so impressed and I love the rice. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu!!!!

As a Houston transplant from the southwest, I can only eat so much Tex-Mex. I was looking for more authentic Mexican food and found this place. It is great!! It hit my craving and I will definitely go back

I have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant instead of Tex-Mex to see if there’s much of a difference in the food. This place advertises Mexican food and it’s pretty close to the real deal. It’s a relaxing atmosphere with good food and service.
