My husband and I tried out this place for the first time. He got steak and chicken fajitas, I got chicken tacos. He really enjoyed the fajitas and flavor. My tacos were kind bland, the chicken didn’t have much flavor. I poured salsa on them to add some flavor. The salsa was different, very runny, no chunks of tomatoes like I’m used to but it was still good. Our waiter was awesome and welcoming. The food came out very quickly. I’d come back but I would try something other than the tacos!

The food was alright. I wasn’t blown away but it was Alright. The salsa didn’t resemble anything like salsa. Looked like they used the liquid part of green chili. I want my salad made with tomatoes, jalapenos, onions and a little cilantro. The salsa was not that The rest of the food was alright. My rellano was a little hard. I like crispy but it was cooked a bit to long but it still tasted good. I ate it. The enchilada was just ok. The burritos were fair. I ate them. Forgot to get beans and rice but I’ll try them next time.

I think that Las Palmas II is exactly the kind of mediocre Mexican food we often get on the Front Range. Tortilla chips you have to ask for, which just come out of a supermarket bag; salsa which has no flavor or bite; bland carnitas tacos with boring tiny cubes of radish; slow service; kind of high prices for the quality. Don’t eat here, there are much better options nearby.

I have been eating here for years never had an issue before today. Today we had a pick up order. The food was not very good at all relleno plat the cheese was not all the way melted, rice and fries in kids meals were old. One kids meal was half chicken half fish. Not sure we will be back.

Some of the best tasting spicey food packed with flavor! My potatoes were perfectly cooked and soft. My sister’s tacos were packed and full of carne. The beans and rice were delicious mixed and added in some of their extra hot sauce. Will definitely eat here again when I come back to Denver!

Was nearby and had some time to kill. Good meal with decent prices. I had the Mexican Hamburger special and my hubby had a combo. The enchiladas were especially good.

This was some of the best and worse Mexican food I’ve ever had. We ordered on 4-28 and got it delivered. The meat was amazing in taste and tenderness, the guac had a good flavor to it, the things that said bacon ACTUALLY had bacon in it, and there was plenty of green Chiles slathered on top. For 5 people it was $70ish. If it stopped there I would have 5 stars on everything.

But considering we’re not from around here we thought it was so good we wanted to have it again the next day. On 4-29 we went and got it as take out. The meat I had was like edible gravel, the guac was bland and it felt like it was from a store, the fajitas that were ordered a second time were well overdone. Have a comparison photo since there were leftovers. You could clearly see that one was massively overcooked by how dark the veggies were, and the green Chiles felt nonexistent in comparison.

If it were only the second day I would say 1 star & avoid at all costs. But from how good day 1 was. My only guess is they had someone else cook that day? Not sure. Hopefully day 2 was a fluke and it’s good otherwise.

Tl;Dr: Ordered two days in a row, day 1 was amazing. Day 2 was utter garbage. So may end up as hit or miss.

They’ve got it all. Fun atmosphere with colorful decorations and music, great margaritas, fresh salsa and chips, such friendly people, and great food. They made us feel like family, our waitress had her brother come tell us what his favorite dishes were since it was our first time. We had a great time and will definitely be back. We got the mar y tierra molcajete and it was awesome!
