This was the perfect place to go to after a big exam. The food and drinks were great, and the servers were really nice. The prices are affordable for both drinks and food. The parking lot can get a little crowded on a busy evening, but we were still able to find a spot. When we went, there was a bit of a wait, but they got us in pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend the sopes and cheese dip. La Parrilla also has weekly specials on drinks.

Me and my wife just went here tonight for supper for the first time and it was great! We had a server that was a new girl and she was super kind and helpful too. Our portions for our meals were great, but we maybe wouldn’t recommend the alcohol here because my margarita was $8 and it was in a very very small cup and I couldn’t even taste any alcohol in it lol But other than that, everyone was so nice and the atmosphere, food, and service was perfect 🙂

Efrain was our server this past Monday (11/24/25), and my girlfriend and I had the best night we could have asked for. It was our reunion dinner after a long semester apart at one of our favorite restaurants close to home. His service was outstanding, so sweet and made sure he knew our orders and executed correctly. Food was excellent. It was an amazing night, he provided admirable service. Will ask for him again. Thank you Efrain.

Unhappy with the carne asada. Unseasoned and tough, & did not taste any marinade. They were generous with the portion of meat, which I appreciate, but it was just bad. The rice and beans were good, and the queso was excellent, but I was overall disappointed in my order. The service was very friendly.

Visited this place with some friends and my girlfriend for a lovely meal. We had a large group of 8 people and just walked in with no reservation and they accommodated us. It was a tasty meal. The horchata is made from a powder, but that is okay. The food is more bland than I would prefer, but it was still solidly tasty. I got the chicken flautas. I would recommend this place for a casual outing with friends or family.

Always the best experience here! My boyfriend and I are regulars and its our #1 spot. Best food and best service! Efrain, Monique, Cessi and Gina are our go to servers! You will always be taken care of at the gaines school location! Great food, drinks and atmosphere!

We went here with my wife to drink beer. The menu has a lot of good options for drinking. It was great to cool off by drinking beer on the patio on a hot summer day. I recommend sitting on the patio. The service was good, and parking was easy.
