The food was amazing! We went on Tuesday early in the day so no one was dining besides me and my sister which I didn’t mind at all. Everything was delicious and hot. There was a lot of flies in the establishment, other than that I would’ve given them 5 stars. We ordered a margarita tower. I wish they put more alcohol in it because I barely tasted any. I did get a lot of food for $22. Very Mexican vibed out with the piñatas hanging from the ceiling. The server was prompt and polite. I’ll definitely return!

Food never disappoints. In my opinion, best Mexican restaurant in Southwest Detroit. Actually in the Detroit Metro area.

I catered a tray of 30 tacos half were steak other half was chicken. By far the worst steak tacos we’ve ever had. Even our guest complained about the fat in them. The amount of fat was unreal after having to pick out the fat out of them there was barely any meat left. So disappointing it’s not like we didn’t pay $80 for the food. Will definitely not be coming back again or ordering from here again.

Had the nachos and wet burrito. Gave 4 stars because the peach margarita was watered down didn’t have any liquor . Had one here before it was just right.

Always exciting unique delicious food, straight outta Jalisco Mexico via Sw Detroit. Open 6 years now on Lawndale and Avis in Sw Detroit a hidden gem hard to find. Nancy and Wicho own three restaurants and five food trucks. Outstanding Crispy Carnitas Taco’s, the crispy part not found many places. Queso Fundio be Hot Bubbling Cheese and Chorizo Yummy . A bowl of Jalisco Style Charro Beans with Hotdogs, really hard to find Marvelous . She had the Beef Birria Egg Rolls with Consume for dipping . Holy Wow so unique and Addictive a must try . I suggest you change the name to Tequila’s, you have one in Roseville and Kalamazoo. Wyandotte location closed and Los Arcos Allen Park Closed. You must change the name of this place No One can remember or pronounce as two different names. You could triple business with a name change Tequila’s folks can pronounce and remember. I believe without the days are numbered for this location. @nancyfdiaz12 @taqueriaelparian @wicho.81 #taqueriaelparian #birriaeggrolls #crispycarnitas #charrobeans #quesofundido

This place can be hit or miss . Usually though it’s decent. The beans here not my favorite. Birria is definitely lacking, and I ❤️ birria! Sometimes the asada is stringy or chewy. The elote is pretty bad . The Corona in the margarita is a pretty nasty idea to definitely avoid.

Any time the staff in an obviously Spanish-speaking cuisine restaurant sees you and immediately goes to get another staff member to help you, two things are certain: you are an obvious gringo (which I am), and you are going to get authentic food.
In fact, the only English spoken the whole time I was there, by staff or customers, was to me or by me. (My Spanish is just a few dozen words).
At 1 p.m. and with no breakfast I went with the taco dinner, 3 tacos vs 2 in the lunch.
I have never seen so many choices of meat before. Pig stomach? Beef head? Liver? I went with al pastor. With refritos, rice, chips & salsa for under $13, tax included.
Everything thing was delicious, including the setting. Outside with a gentle breeze, a full plate and a big appetite.
I really need to live closer, this place is genuine.
I need to return to just try some of the things I never had in Florida. And with that huge menu, it’ll take many trips.

The beers were burnt. The tacos were swimming in grease. They were salty, the sauces were bitter, they don’t know how to make guacamole, and it was also salty and bitter. If you have a discerning palate, I don’t recommend going there because the food is terrible. I went because the place was recommended to me, but I think they played a bad joke on me.
