What a great little hidden jem in Collinsville, Virginia. In a place filled with Mexican restaurants, this one is BY FAR the most authentic one I’ve been to in Henry county. The food reminded me of Mexico, which I was blessed to visit. It is the closest I’ve come to true Mexican authenticity. Overall, the food was fantastic. Place is very clean and the staff are great, if a bit of a language barrier (Better for authenticity).

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Each plate we ordered was $8.99. We had tacos (4 to an order) and huaraches (2 to an order). Both very delicious. We tried the tongue, enchilada beef, and carne asada. Loved then all. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Yo!! This place was a diamond in the rough! The food was extraordinary and hot the spot! We all ordered beef tacos even though we all agreed that we missed out by not trying some more authentic items we saw other folks ordering. But either way, our beef tacos were simple and delicious. The tres leche was ridiculously good. We are very happy to have eaten at this place!

Homemade…. All fresh ingredients, one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve been to… I’ve only been there once because just passing thru the area. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed! Place looks rough on the outside, but carnitas tacos were great! Even the tortillas were made from scratch!

This is the perfect example that you should not judge a book by his cover, the place can looks a bit run down, but the food is simply delicious.
This is one of the few places where you can find the real Mexican homemade food flavor and they have a very good variety like tamales, barbecue and lamb soup, pozole, tacos, huaraches, sopes, burritos, quesadillas, chicken mole, menudo and the delicious ‘masa’ plate, with handmade tortillas, atole and coffee.
Do not let the names scare you and give it a try!

Glad I decided to eat here food was so good and had the best flavor . Got 3 carne asada tacos and rice , it was the best authentic rice I’ve eaten. 10/10 will definitely be going back ! Great customer service also !
