TLJ was great! The food was as amazing as you would expect from an LJ. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining room was large and had plenty of room. The parking lot and entrance take a little maneuvering. Beware when leaving as a vehicle drove by the front door pretty close. This is a cash only establishment.

La Juanita’s has a new drive through location. (May 2025) I know their burritos are a favorite, but I order two steak tacos with sauce and carrots plus a pineapple drink for $6. It’s the same food as the original location. They take cash only.

This place is amazing! Prices are great, portions are perfect, and the food is so good. I had a burrito rice plate, and was blown away. The asada was tender and without gristle and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. They have the best Horchata I’ve ever had! Eric at the counter was so kind and helpful!! Highly recommend.

Have originally gone to the original La Juanita’s on Pierce for over the past 20 years and I’m sold for life… In 2006 I had moved to ABQ, New Mexico and seriously tried my dang hardest to find a restaurants similar to La Juanita’s that sold carrots with jalapenos and I found only one cuz everything down there was the American style of Mexican food and that’s no good. The new “Taqueria La Juanita” on hwy 75 is also amazing. Only wish they had the Pierce Street style chicken tacos.. I still love it though

they need to get the original recipe down! Got some burritos and the whole fam knew what la juas I got them from. Chewy meat, beans are so watery, to much cilantro, even the carrots taste different. I will be sticking to the other la juas until they get the original recipe down or something.
