How is this inside a Walmart???
I just happen to be here on a Taco Tuesday where the Tacos (soft, corn, flour) are $2 and $3.
The cashier was pleasant and not pushy as thos was my 1st time here, I needed a moment to decide.
You get tortilla chips and I order 3 soft tacos, no drink….well, they have Pepsl, but not Pepsi Zero. Diet just isn’t the same. Cost was $7 and some change.
Anyway…salsa varieties are around the corner and TRUE heat/spice levels. The food was brought to me and the taste was restaurant quality.
I am useless to subway or some other low end food inside walmart…. you outdone yourself Moorhead City…

Today was our first visit. Damn good taco and burritos. Price was very reasonable, staff was pleasant. Salsa bar and best part was eatting before shopping, preventing over food shopping!

I stopped in to check it out. They have a large selection of flavors and styles to fit any taste, but I wasn’t too impressed by the price. While it was very tasty, my taco was small for what I paid. I’ll give them another try and get some other items that looked pretty good and have more for the money.

The first time I went there, the burrito was huge and delicious. The second time I went there it was cold, but that was fine. It was taken home anyway so I hit it in the microwave the third time, today., As with all visits , I always got two, They were half the size of the original burritos. They were also so dry. It was impossible to choke them down. Almost like they were burned. All three visits were exactly at noon. I will not be returning.

Had a great experience at Chubbys. Don and Joshua helped me with my order because I was worried the spicy chicken tinga would be too spicy for my toddler. They assured me it wasn’t. Well we get home and not only did my son eat all of it, but he wanted more! It was that good!
The food was also really quick. Friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back to Chubbys!

Chubby’s Tacos is new to me, and surprising to see it in a Walmart. I was expecting some other well-know fast food place.
The staff were very pleasant and told me that they had been open for about a year.
I had recently had birria street tacos and was happy to see them on their menu. I ordered one of each of their eat tacos: chicken, beef and pork, as well as the birrias. I also tried the soft corn and flour, and hard corn tortillas.
The soft corn tortilla fell apart, as I expected, and the meat filling was a bit dry. I added the house salsa from the generous salsa bar and it really helped. The flour tortilla taco was good and held up even drenched in salsa. The hard taco held up well.
The flavors for each of the meats were good and definitely benefit from salsa.
The birria tacos were very good. The meat filling was generous and flavorful.
Overall, the prices are good, the portions are generous, the salsa bar was well stocked and flavorful. I would like a soft corn tortilla that holds up to the filling and salsa, and less salt in the birria filling.

I can’t say I was impressed by the food, nor the service, had to send it back once because it was filled with eggshells, on top of that, the original “bowl” had no cheese or anything on it, had I known it was just eggs and bacon thrown on top of hash browns. The taste was decent, after I threw some watered down salsa on it of course! I paid 6 dollars for a small handful of hashbrowns, 2 fried eggs, and like 4 half strips of bacon, with cheese that was still cold. I hope their lunch taste better than their breakfast, otherwise I don’t see them sticking around for too long. But, the atmosphere of this restaurant is pretty alright, love the decor, however the food, not so much.

Food is definitely above Taco Bell and Chipotle. Its located inside Walmart. Expect to spend about $11-$15 a person as serving sizes can fill 2 people. Ex: Nachos.

I’ve been to this chubby’s 3 times, the first time I went on a taco Tuesday and it was pretty good, not amazing but I did enjoy the Baja fish tacos, figured because it was Tuesday and they were pumping out tacos that’s why they were ok but then the next time I went it was so awful half my tacos were the wrong order and drowning in sauce I couldn’t even taste the fish, and the chicken tinga tacos were awful, the third time I ordered i called on the phone ahead, and my husband picked it up and every single taco was wrong, I was so excited to have my Baja fish tacos I opened up the container and it was all naked grilled shrimp in every taco with nothing NOTHING on them. So confused where the loss of communication and consistency in food is with this place. They cook it fresh in front of you so idk where they are loosing it… chips are amazing but they’ll only give me one bag even when I’m picking up a order for 5 people.
