Entree platters and tortas are well priced around $15 for robust portions while tacos are priced around $4-5 a piece. My order was $14 for 3 tacos, I regret not getting the quesadilla that is served with sides and priced at $12.50. The flavors are good and the service was not special, kind of slow. I was disappointed with the tacos –and they didn’t come default with sides of salsa

Despite this establishment hasn’t been quite the same in terms of vibe and flavor in comparison to before the pandemic, it is still a very sweet taco joint with cheap affordable food that provides comfort, especially after offering birria items including the birria ramen which I had ordered.

In terms of taste, the birria ramen was very salty, to the point that I had to water it down a bit to finish it. I appreciated the idea of having this option but I seriously think more meat and more noodles are needed for the consomé to not have an overpowering taste. The tacos tasted good as usual and had a good amount of ingredients which I loved. Previously I came here to get lengua tacos and they had very little dry lengua meat. The torta was also good in the most conventional way, which grilled chicken, mayo, and more.

Back in the days I used to order a tray of tacos, 25 of them, for about $75 which I believe is still the case for the same price. I know that people in general will appreciate this establishment for its affordability on comfort food that will feed lots.

Pretty good fast food style Mexican burritos and chips. Homemade salsa. Friendly staff. Great meet up location.

For $17 you get a forgettable meal, a cold can of pop, and Francisca serving frostbite with her nasty attitude-free of charge.

After making the effort to check in and return as soon as you reopened to support YOUR business, this level of treatment is truly disheartening. / La Flor de Jalisco in Shakopee sells AMAZING fresh carnitas tacos etc with great customer service / Brito’s Burritos is another excellent small business choice to support instead of this establishment.

Am from Texas with family from Mexico so I’ve had hundreds of tacos over the years. They make good tacos here! They don’t make their own tortillas from what I saw, but the fillings are solid. The pastor tastes good, the asada is even better, but you can probably skip the chicken. Ask for extra limes when you order, and also for spicy salsa. They won’t give it unless you ask. The burritos aren’t as good as the tacos but they are a better value for the size. Staff speaks English and Spanish fluently. Parking is ample but seating can get full.

Was looking for some good Mexican to have for lunch and this place was delicious. I got the torta gorda and my partner got 2 tacos, the pollo and carne asada. The torta gorda lived up to its name, it was stuffed! Half the sandwich filled me up. The meat was all seasoned so well and it was all juicy! Being so big though, it kinda crumbled in my hand with stuff falling out but can’t complain with it being so big its over flowing (4/5). I didn’t get to try my partner’s tacos so don’t know how they are, she said carne asada just tasted like meat, but she likes the pollo a lot. We also got the horchata and I personally liked it but my partner said it was a little sweet. The service was good, but they do announce orders in Spanish so elementary came in handy for when they read off 47 lol. Spacious place with outside seating as well that is perfect for the spring/summer. Overall, a good place that we would visit again.

Francisca makes every interaction unnecessarily awful. She has zero sense of basic customer service or common respect. I’ve been put on hold, shown up in person while still on hold, and she’s just standing there doing nothing. She acts irritated that customers even exist and clearly hates her job and it shows. If you can’t handle simple tasks without attitude, you shouldn’t be working with people. I’m done coming here.

Delicious, fast, friendly — Taqueria La Hacienda is ideal for a quick lunch or dinner. Impressively flavorful, even on a simple quesadilla. Tortillas were standout.

My wife and I have been here many times, she always gets 4 carne asada tacos, I try different items but often get the Lengua taco a. I tried a Milanese torta for the first time, boring and boring. I’m a retired executive chef and remember pounding veal scallopine not this thin. I bet the food cost is under $2 and you pay and pay too much for your money. I ate half and took the rest home to add some flavor like lime, tomato, cilantro, cheese and mayo to this pathetic torta. The bread is nice.

Great Mexican food is at Maria’s Mexican restaurant on Lake Street
