Hole in the wall atmosphere serving the best tacos in Stamford. They don’t skimp on the meats in each taco. You can sit down by the counter for a quick bite but more than likely you’re picking up an order from here or getting it delivered.

I love Mexican food so I just had to try this spot once I saw it. My favorite was the Mexican fries and the chorizo tacos ! The quesadillas were great as well. The Al Pastor tacos tasted a bit dry and lacked in flavor unfortunately. Nonetheless, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our meal and will definitely order again!

We are local in Stamford, CT and tried dozens of Mexican spots and this one was one of the best ones: clean food, large portions (not just a bread and rice) – actual meat and veggies!

I have tried so many Mexican restaurants in Stamford. This one is definitely towards the top of the list. The employees were really nice, and the food was delicious. I got the Mexican steak quesadilla, and it was huge. The quesadilla was really good and the sour cream (which I normally don’t like) made it perfect. I think I’ll be coming here a lot.

Little disappointed on their birria tacos. The consommé was cold you could even see the fat floating because i guess they didn’t warm it up enough. I have tried lots of birria and i can say this one no good! Smelled different too not like birria.

Just had the best tacos in Stamford, super authentic! The flavor profile is on point, great portions, sauces are pair perfectly. Best part is they travel well, I got them as takeout and they were perfect!

I stopped by Taqueria La Frontera in Stamford and ordered the birria quesadillas and birria tacos. The flavor was okay, but the meat was very tough to chew and honestly tasted like it might have been from the day before. The tacos and quesadillas could definitely use more cheese — they felt a little dry. The rice on the side was also pretty bland and dry, which was disappointing. For $40, I think it was pretty expensive for what I got. Overall, not a terrible experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement

The food is great and the tacos are pretty stuffed for the price. Was so good we got it two nights in a row. If you like spicy the habanero salsa is delicious and has the perfect amount of kick. Will certainly be coming back on a frequent basis!
