Pictures don’t do this burrito justice. It was way better than any chain restaurant I’ve been to and at a better price. We go out of our way to visit and enjoy it every time. My partner gets the tacos and loves them too.

We loved the meals here. Burrito carnitas- awesome! Pork tacos – outstanding.
Every meal with a grilled jalapeño; and both flavors of salsa.
We shall return. A lot.
And if you’re at Greenlake, eat here. After a swim with the family. Chilling at the park – eat here.
Fast service. Kind service.
Best for last – ridiculously low prices.

I tried this place one sunny afternoon, craving carne asada tacos. Wow, did they deliver! The tacos come LOADED with juicy meat nuggets (none of that dry stuff!), garnished with grilled onion and hot pepper. The service is super fast, and there’s a fantastic shaded patio to hang out on (two tables, each with two benches). There is easy access right off Aurora Ave N, with ample parking if you drive and a bus stop literally right next to it. If you’re in North Seattle but you wish your mouth was in Mexico, stop by Taqueria La Fondita!

It’s crazy because I love taco trucks and I normally always get the same thing but every truck makes it differently. They all are pretty much the same price and almost the same when it comes to ingredients but some servings are bigger and some are better tasting but they all are pretty good. If you haven’t eaten at a taco truck then I don’t thinkr your very American and definitely not Mexican

Nestled discreetly on the corner of the street, this unassuming Mexican restaurant is a hidden treasure worth discovering. Don’t let its unassuming appearance fool you, because behind those doors lies a haven of delectable Mexican cuisine. It’s clear that the flavors here are crafted with passion and authenticity, likely stemming from a cherished family recipe.
The standout dish that steals the show is the spicy pork burrito. It’s a culinary masterpiece, combining tender and succulent pork with a tantalizing level of spice that ignites the taste buds. Each bite is a symphony of flavors that leaves you craving more.
Seating is limited to just two outdoor tables, accommodating up to six guests. While the cozy outdoor ambiance adds a charming touch, it’s important to note that they don’t offer tap water. However, the attentive and friendly staff make up for any minor inconveniences.
If you’re in search of a Mexican food experience that goes beyond the ordinary, this restaurant is a must-visit. Prepare to indulge in mouthwatering dishes that will transport you straight to the heart of Mexico.

I quit going to this place for a long time because the rice started sucking, the meat started sucking and the service always sucked. Came back today after a year or so and WOW my socks blew off. The rice is back to home made style grandma’s recipe. The taco meat was delicious. I want to give them all a kiss, so proud of them.

Over exceeded my expectations. I got the spicy beef burrito as well as the chicken burrito and horchata to drink. The horchata was delicious and perfect for a nice and sunny summer day in Seattle. The burritos hit the spot. If you are looking to support a small and local Mexican business than definitely check out La Fondita!

For the price, they did everything right. This Mexican fare provided beans and rice como tu mama or abuela would make them! The burrito was better than competitors, but the chile relleno stood out for it’s simplicity and flavor. 🙂 The champurrado was a little watery and off, but I can’t complain given how affordable it is. I’d return. Plenty of parking BTW
