We were very disappointed in the food service and prices. Ordered the taco plate and instead of the fried tacos we got the Taco Bell version of a beef taco. We had ordered the shredded beef and had to pay a dollar more at the table for them to remake them correct. The worker then stood in the kitchen eating the tacos we sent back.

so first time trying this place and i’ve lived in boise almost my whole life. I was craving a wet burrito super bad so we settled on this place. i was super excited especially after seeing good reviews so we pull up and order. at the window the person there clearly didn’t even seem happy to be at work, he asked us if we wanted any sauces it being our first time we didn’t know what they had so we asked or a little bit of everything so we could try it. as soon as we get home i noticed my wet burrito is a dry burrito with melted cheese on top. and we only got one sauce ? burrito was still delicious as i will still come back again, but still customer service is definitely lacking and warning to anyone ordering a wet burrito from this place make sure you tell them to actually make it wet lol.

We ordered from DoorDash after a stressful day and it showed up quick! It was also so delicious and worth the price. We spent $48 with the DoorDash fee and tip and received 2 meals and 2 sides. Cheaper than at home and better flavor! Real tortilla chips and the salsa was on point! The food was also delicious! Will be adding this to our list of favorites!

I decided to take my family out for lunch at Taqueria La Flama, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. After we ordered and sat down, my son received his plate first. About 5–10 minutes later, two more plates came out — and both were wrong. I had ordered something specific, but the plate I received was not what I asked for. The waitress apologized and took the incorrect plate back.

What made it worse was that my young daughter didn’t receive her food until almost 20 minutes later. By that time, everyone else was already eating or had been waiting a long time. When you go out to eat as a family, you expect everyone’s food to come out together so you can enjoy the meal at the same time.

Although the waitress brought out a scoop of ice cream and apologized, it didn’t make up for the long wait and mistakes with our order. Overall, the service was very poor, and it was a frustrating experience for our family.

Im giving 5 stars because of the staff. The food is good and the flavors are excellent. Salsa bar is better than most and felt refrigerated. Lower your expectations if your looking for a fancy restaurant, however it’s a great place if your on a date. The chili R. And all of the tacos were tasty. No fried crispy tacos. But they will make a shell taco at your request

Food was made fresh to order! Absolutely perfect presentation and so delicious. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly and so fresh! Enough for 2-3 meals. Yum! Just what I needed after a long day of travel.

Came here for dinner on Tuesday wanting taco Tuesday night, and it was a great decision to follow through on that plan to do just that! Food is authentic & taste is flavorful. Customer service was very good. The dining area was clean & very spacious. The salsa bar has all the good salsa to add to your delicious tasting plate of food! Have been going here for the last couple years, but this our first review! Next time you feel like tacos or a plate of dinner and you want authentic, delicious tasting Mexican food, come to Taqueria La Flama !!!

My husband and I visited two nights ago, and our order was incomplete, we were missing our rice and beans, as well as an additional side of beans. We called the restaurant, and they told us to come back anytime, wrote our name down, and asked us to request Angela.
Two days later, my husband went back to pick up the corrected order. He does not speak Spanish fluently, but he does understand it. While placing the order and adding a few tacos without onion, the staff , including Angela, were openly mocking him and making inappropriate comments in Spanish. This was especially disappointing because when I spoke to them in Spanish over the phone previously, there was no issue at all.
It was very clear that they felt comfortable speaking disrespectfully simply because they assumed my husband wouldn’t understand. That kind of behavior is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters, and this situation was handled poorly from start to finish.
Because of this experience, we will not be returning.
