Just come here if you want excellent tacos.
I’ve lived in Central America briefly, visited Mexico numerous times, and spent 10 years eating my way through San diegan and Tijuanan Mexican food. If you are within a 30-40 min drive and are craving Mexican food, you’re not gonna find any better. Meat freshly grilled. Toppings on point. Salsas that make you sweat. Mountains of cilantro and tortillas that are maybe even homemade? Sign me up, I’ll be back.

I like they had a few more options than other Mexican markers in the area. But I feel like the meat selection was decent and even ready to go packaged. I just wish they had hot links instead of 3 kinds of hotdog meat. Bathroom was clean and part of the restaurant not the market. But you are allowed to use it if you shop at either one.
*Life hack, If you buy beer at the market you can drink it in the restaurant area.*
-just can’t take open containers outside.

The food here is so good every time we go! Great, helpful staff, plenty of variety at the salsa bar. Al pastor street tacos are legit and so are the nachos. Awesome place

This place was incredible!! I got 3 tacos for 7.99. The Al pastor was out of this world! Incredible char on the meat and delicious, balanced flavor.

Painesville has a thriving Taco scene and taqueria La Casita might be the best of the bunch. I ordered the 3 street tacos and the combination of perfectly marinated meat, fresh salsas and toppings made for some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, all for under $10. I’m looking forward to going back and exploring deeper into the menu.
Be sure to check out the attached Mexican grocer.

The food was pretty good. We went and picked it up instead of dining in. The chips are SUPER thick and crunchy but, almost burnt. The guacamole and salsa were good with a nice flavor but, the guac had ZERO heat. I know some people prefer that though. The rice and beans were just like any other restaurant, so that was a little disappointing. We got the Tortas and the Street Quesadillas as our entrees and, even though the tortas were good, they didn’t put any cheese on them 🙁 However, the quesadillas made up for that! The flavor was really good and the crispy cheese on the tortilla was perfect! We might even return.

As a white man in Ohio, this is the most authentic Mexican experience a Caucasoid could possibly have. The market is expansive and feels as though you’re in Mexico. So many colorful items I’ve never seen or heard of. Every time I come here I’m excited to try something different or discover something I haven’t seen before. As for the restaurant, it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I will definitely be returning. Please support this business if you care about the culture and supporting local businesses. La casita never disappoints.

If you are looking for true authentic Mexican food, then this is the place for you. When you first walk in, there isn’t much to look at and they hand you on an order up bar(usually the menu is on the wall), but they cook and prepare the food right there in front of you and there is also seating if you do not wish to eat on the run. They do not offer alcohol, but they do have fountain and bottled sodas. The food tastes delicious and the price is good for authentic food. I highly recommend the chorizo street tacos, as they are my favorite.
