Traveling and very hungry with a group of 6 (including two kids), and they took great care of us. Everything was homemade – even the tortillas – and it really showed. They kindly made a delicious veg bowl on request for our vegetarian friends. The flan was the icing on the cake. Friendly, welcoming staff and excellent food. Highly recommend!

Been hearing about this place for months now. Today was looking for something different to have for dinner and stopped in. They definitely live up to the hype and all the reviews. If you are looking for authentic fresh and homemade food this is the go to. I will for sure be a frequent customer. The Shrimp Ceviche Tostada and the Birria Pizza are for sure 2 that will be the go to!!!!
The service is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for the small independent restaurants!!!

The food here is delicious!!! I went with my mom for lunch and we got the birria pizza, elote corn, and chips & salsa. Everything was very good, we are already planning to go back and try more of their menu. Everyone was very kind and the food came out quickly and hot.

One of the worst taco spot in Slidell. Extremely Over priced. 5 dollars for a street taco is crazy. My 3 piece pupusas were supposed to be “ stuffed” for 20 dollars. All I tasted was bread. As you can see in the photo it was a let down. I highly recommend you pass. I understand you have to make your money but I paid for 60 dollars worth of food for 3 people and we were still starving. I don’t mind expensive food but it was always a balance for quality, & quantity. This place didn’t have one perk. Very misleading on DoorDash with quantity of food. And thanks for the 2 dry limes and making me pay extra for sauce…

I only leave a review if it’s a great experience or a terrible one. This was great! Don’t get fooled by the strip mall exterior, there is a legit Mexican food experience in there! Everything is hand made in the restaurant…the chips/salsa…the queso…the horchata…the birria consumé…the tamales…and it’s all made RIGHT! Decently priced authentic Mexican cuisine served quickly by courteous staff. You will not be disappointed and you’ll be glad you paid them a visit! Keep these folks in business, totally recommend!

This is honestly my favorite spot. The food is DELICIOUS, fresh, and made with love. I tried the tamarindo for the first time today, which they make from scratch and it was yummy. My go-to is the birria tacos, because they have the best ones I’ve ever tried. But last time I tried the huevos rancheros and they did NOT disappoint. The family that runs this restaurant is kind and warm, and you can tell that they love what they do because you can just taste the love in everything they serve, from their carefully crafted drinks, food that soothes the soul, and don’t skip dessert! I tried the flan today and it was deliciously smooth and creamy and I can’t wait to try the tres leches next time!
