Ordered something simple angel hair in oil
and garlic to go went to eat the angel hair it was overpowered by black pepper and hot pepper

Great food!! Unfortunately, I can only rate it a 3 star. We did not feel very welcomed. After being seated we sat there for 15 minutes looking around trying to figure out who our waiter was. I had to ask who our server was before we were even acknowledged. There was a waiter by the name Seth who did not bother to attend us even though he was attending that side of the restaurant. He did very well with everyone else around us except us, of course. Not sure if 3 Latina women intimidated him but we did feel bothered after a while. Luckily the server who i flagged down, Chris, attended us since Seth refused to even look our way. Chris was friendly and kind enough to attend us so we appreciate that. Not sure if we would ever come back. Very disappointing that the food was delicious but the service wasn’t up to par.

This place is delicious. Their bottomless breadsticks are to die for and the Chicken Florentine is an absolute must have. They’ve got excellent drinks and a cozy little vibe with a no rush atmosphere. I went in with no expectations but I must say they set a high bar.

I enjoy coming here when I come to town. All the locals hang out at the bar, it’s a older crowd usually but nice folks. The bartender Jesse, great smile and outgoing personality. Check him out ladies I had ordered the tuna pasta, hear me out, get the tuna cooked with a little pink left so medium well. You don’t want to dry it out. Trust me. Same thing for Salmon. That pasta was so dang good, I was too full to finish it. They give you a big sharable salad and bread, I ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was a 5/10, I thought these were bigger once, maybe I’m wrong but the pesto it comes with wasn’t exciting and the mushrooms were overcooked. The mozzarella sticks were good.

I love coming here, having a low light setting, a relaxing, quiet environment, and there’s TV at the bar. You can catch the owner greeting customers as they eat, don’t ve shy say hi, stop into Mario’s. You won’t be mad.

My husband ordered the chicken ala nardo and he LOVED it. Said it was perfect. I had the chicken parm. And although the flavor was nice the chicken pieces were small and had been pounded so flat they were paper thin. I felt like for $18 it was a bit over priced. The waitress was attentive and very nice.

Mario’s is popular with locals and tourists. When we arrived for dinner the place was packed with happy diners. They found us a booth within five minutes. Our wine salad and bread sticks came soon after. Our dinners were delicious and be sure to save room for dessert. They all looked delicious but the Spumoni Bomb was one of the best desserts that I have enjoyed. Overall the entire experience was delightful.

We are not from around here and stayed nearby. We thought we’d check it out based on other reviews. We had the seafood lasagna and mussels with white wine sauce. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

I’m in town for two weeks and was craving pasta. So I came here for dinner around 7 on a Friday night. It looks fairly busy, but I was able to find a seat at the bar since it was just myself. I was greeted by the bartender quickly, although it took a few minutes to be asked and get a menu. The bartender knew a part of their small wine selection and had to refer to the drink menu. I ordered a glass of their Moscato and was given a decent pour. I was also given complimentary salad and breadsticks. The salad came with a vinaigrette. The fresh breadsticks had some seasoning and decent flavor. I ordered Fried Calamari which were okay. The cook was good, leaving them tender and not chewy. The breading was crispy as well. However, it lacked seasoning. For my main course, I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. I got a good size serving. I also got grated parmesan cheese on the side upon requesting. The sauce was a little runny before I added most of the parmesan cheese. I also added salt and black pepper, which it really needed since it lacked flavor. The pasta was cooked well though. The place had dim lighting and looked maintained. The staff seemed friendly enough. A few of the diners at the bar were regulars and seemed friendly and fun to have a drink with. I may consider coming back if I’m ever craving pasta again and in the area.

Casual but good food. Nothing fancy but the prices are on the higher side compared to the portion size. The food meets expectations. Great place to come after the lake to have great service (Savannah) and enjoy a tasty meal. Wish the portions were larger per more traditional Italian restaurants but we still enjoyed ourselves! I’d also expect the wine to be corked and not twist off for $35. In summary, great food, casual atmosphere, and wonderful service.
