I chose to order from Taqueria Express La Villita based on the numerous positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience did not align with the level of quality that was advertised. While I understand the limitations that can come with delivery, the standards of food preparation and presentation should remain consistent.
The salsa was provided in small packets, which felt unusual and inconvenient for a meal of this type. The torta arrived overly soggy, lacking structure, and was noticeably sparse in its ingredients. Without the salsa, the flavor profile was surprisingly bland, which was disappointing given the reputation of the food.
The nachos were not edible and were ultimately discarded, as the appearance and texture were far below acceptable quality. Additionally, the elote was priced at $4, yet the portion size was extremely small, especially considering the low cost of the primary ingredient.
Overall, the order did not justify the cost or the wait, and the experience fell short of expectations. I had hoped for a meal that reflected the enthusiasm seen in other reviews, but the execution and value were lacking. I would encourage the establishment to reassess delivery quality and portion standards, as these factors significantly impact customer satisfaction.

Where do I start? I’m here working from out of state, and I’ve been here 4 weeks. Since my first visit everyone that works here has treated me like family. After my first meal, I vowed to try everything on the menu. I think I’m a little over half now. lol. The owner has a smile and truly cares for everyone he meets. I give this place a 15 out of 10 on food and service. Truly some the kindest people I’ve ever met. Thank you Raul and family

Really nice guy running the truck when I got a chicken quesadilla there last week. When I got home and opened it, the cheese was half melted. I had to throw it in the oven for 5 minutes. It was subpar. Maybe this was a one off occasion but I won’t be finding out.

I travel for work and have been to a lot of places, a bunch in Texas and every time I get another place that serves Mexican food I am disappointed. I’ve tried most of the menu and have never been disappointed a single time.
Not only is this the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it’s some of the best food I’ve eaten in general. Also, the folks that work the truck are some of the nicest and most courteous people that I’ve ever seen in customer service, seriously.I do, and will continue to eat here at least once a week as long as they stay open.

Authentic Mexican food and a great place to practice your Spanish, lol. These guys are great and serve some top-notch food! I visit the #2 truck in Mustang road and cedar branch in the shopping center on the NE side of the intersection.
I love the Pastor, Carnitas, Birria, and Asada meats. They also have Tripe and Lengua for those who like it. The chicken is also really good and my Mom’s favorite.
They have a mild green salsa and a hot red salsa and both are homemade and excellent.

I normally would leave great reviews but I am highly disappointed today. I was overcharged for the birria tacos and given regular carne asada tacos that were fried. Sadly, I’ve never had to check my items before leaving and can’t take it back due to work. This is very disappointing for the money spent and the meat for the birria tacos was not close to being the right type or amount
