The interior is almost like a fast food joint’s. It gives old Taco Bell vibes. I ordered 3 enchiladas as sides and 2 quesabirria tacos to go. The quesabirria tacos were the best item I ordered and came with chopped white onions and cilantro. I would definitely try that again.
All the enchiladas I ordered were Verde, and they were kind of bland. The meats inside were good, though. I got cabeza, carnitas, and adobada. I had to use salsas from the salsa bar to help with the rest of the enchiladas. Next time I would try the other kinds of enchiladas with different sauce flavors.
I didn’t like the smoky or spiciest salsas, but the green salsa and mild red salsa taste good enough to drink. I wish I could pack the pickled carrots myself because they’re kept in small baggies with only a few inside, and I need a ton of those, especially to make up for not getting free chips.

This is my go to door dash Mexican spot. The chicken adobo is flavorful, juicy and crispy. What makes this taqueria stand out when I go in person is the salsa bar. I love the escoviche, their cabbage salsa, and grilled onions. The carne asada is good and the rice is fluffy. For takeout and price point, El Sabor doesn’t disappoint. The customer service is great.

I am mixed on this one. First the positive. The food is actually very good. Their verde/green sauce is very flavorful and not too hot and is very smooth, their beans are good, their green Encheladas and chiliquiles are among the best I’ve had in Seattle. Now the negative, the prices are very high relative to the amount of food you get and the portions are rather small. The green Encheladas I got came with maybe a tablespoon of refried beans … and about 2 tablespoons of rice – that is not enough! I had to order an extra side portion of beans ($3.99 for an extra side). A side of corn tortillas is $3.99 and comes with 3 small tortillas… that is like $1.30 per tortilla! Other comparable restaurants charge $1.75 – $2.00 for 6 and another restaurant provides homemade tortillas complimentary. The tortilla price is highway robbery plain and simple! Chips are not complimentary either as you must buy these separately. A plate of Encheladas (3 small rolled Encheladas) and a small amount of beans and rice is $14.99 … but once you order additional beans, chips and tortillas … the price for one to get full is nearly $30.00. Service is good and people are friendly…. I just wish to portions were bigger. One should not need to order additional items to get full. All in all good tasting food, good hours and friendly n staff … but every time I go there I feel a bit robbed. Best, MJ

Taqueria El Sabor is great spot for delicious Mexican food.
The tacos are fantastic—authentic & flavorful. They add a good serving of meat in each taco.
I especially loved their birria option.
The kids menu also has great options and everything is prepared fresh.
I recommend checking it out!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – we ordered 8 cabeza tacos which were good. The tacos had a slight crisp and the protein was good. The pepper had a great kick! A bit inconsistent in filling as we had some that were stuffed and other tacos that were fairly empty
Ambience: 3/5 – worn down furniture but homey feel since everyone is so friendly
Service: 5/5 – definitely language barrier but they were friendly
Value for price: 5/5 to 1/5 – the food was great in flavor and reasonable in price. Had some confusion since the taco prices were all over the place but it ended up being just over $2 per taco. Unfortunately, both of us got the runs within 2 hours of eating here :((((

Good authentic food, even better service. The staff noticed I was having an issue with my food. Without me asking, they came over and graciously took care of me.

I ordered three chicken tacos. They were made from fresh ingredients like onions and cilantro. Tortilla’s tasted fine, but I don’t know if they are made in house. The chicken was diced small and flavorful, but a little on the dry side. Stephen had chicken mole. It was delicious and refried beans were a mixture of puree and whole beans. Condiments are available for self serve. We will return to El Sabor for more home style Mexican food!

I ordered from them on DoorDash, and I’m not one to leave bad reviews EVER- but there were so many dead ants in my drink. Thank god they forgot my straw or I never would have checked.
I threw my food out immediately.
