It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but we came here to visit friends. The food was delicious, and I tried chilaquiles for the first time—highly recommend. The whole experience also felt very authentic.

Came in on Friday night.
It was crowded. But I was seated quickly. I got a large horchata to drink. It was pretty good.
They gave me red and green salsa. Red salsa tasted like watered-down chef-boy-ar-dee sauce. The green salsa was delicious and had the perfect amount of spice. They gave me alot of broken chips.
I ordered the #9 surf & turf fajitas. It came out quickly. The portion was smaller compared to other restaurants. Only got 3 shrimp, which didn’t taste good, more fishy than normal. Looked boiled with seasoning thrown on. Received only 5 pieces of skirt steak and 4 pieces of chicken. Neither tasted seasoned or marinated. Couldn’t finish it. I had to ask another waiter for my flour tortillas. They only gave me 2. The rice was a little bland, but the refried beans were great. The shredded chicken enchilada was delicious though.
The bathroom was kind of dirty but surprisingly didn’t smell.
My waitress didn’t seem to want to serve me, but I think she was just overwhelmed and ready to go home.
Don’t really think this place is worth it.
14.99$ wasted on mediocre food I could have made myself.

I have visited this location many times over the years. All my visits have been via the Drive-thru. You can also call ahead to pick up or you can dine in. They do get busy at times, but doesn’t take too long to get your order. The prices are reasonable. The food is good. I’ve never had any issues with the staff, the ladies here are very friendly.

What I ordered:
I usually get the “Fajita a la Plancha” and the Queso n Chips which are very good
In my opinion better than the other “Taqueria” down the street. The Gorditas and Tortas are pretty good as well.
I have to say I don’t like the salsas. They lack flavor and are a bit watery.

Food was delicious. Great portions for very fair prices, and the Menudo here is the best in the state. Long drive to get here, but so worth it! Servers are sweet, and the atmosphere is very lively.

The waitress with red hair & glasses is impatient and expected customers to know their order as soon as they walked in. We were a table of four and we all ordered at the same time. 3 dishes came out but one person didn’t get their food until the end when everyone else was already done. The food was good and reasonably priced. But the bad service doesn’t justify coming back.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the drive-through cashier at this location. When I pulled up to the window, she spoke to me in a rude tone, asking what I was waiting for. I had received my food but not my beverage (a horchata). When I politely mentioned this, she insisted that I never ordered one and claimed she remembered taking my order. I showed her my receipt, which clearly listed the beverage, and she looked at it without saying a word. After about two minutes, she handed me the drink—still without an apology—and rolled her eyes before closing the window.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this behavior. I’ve noticed over the past few months that this same employee’s attitude has become increasingly unpleasant and unprofessional toward customers. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but consistent rudeness is unacceptable in customer service.
My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for many years—we’ve dined here every Sunday since I was 10 years old. Unfortunately, after this repeated poor treatment, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. It’s disappointing to see the quality of service decline, especially from an employee who has worked here for years. If she is unhappy in her role, perhaps management should address this issue to ensure a better experience for other customers.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I came here today on a Sunday (03/03/2024) to try the Menudo.

That friend is no more.

The WORST menudo I have ever eaten. They don’t serve you much tripe in a large bowl ($11.99). You will get plenty of hominy though. And some of the slabs are 100% fat…no tripe meat at all.

The restaurant’s dining room was completely full and I had customers around my table waiting to be seated.

Maybe the other menu items are okay… Just not the menudo.

The food is delicious here, but the old lady that handles the drive through always has an attitude and doesn’t have a welcoming vibe.
